This is not one of the better Ritz Carlton I have stayed in. While it's all the way out there in Rancho Mirage, the resort activities are very limited.

Overall experience was good. Kind staff that was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in supporting the stay.
My only issue here was that some (not all) of the other guests seemed to have forgotten their manners or decorum. Just because you pay a premium to stay at the Ritz, or any hotel, doesn’t mean you get to act without manners or kindness.

The oasis on the top of the desert mountain, the facilities, environment, and service are all good! There are two pieces of chocolate on the bedside every day, eat them quickly, otherwise they will melt when you take them out! My son fell when he went out, and the front desk immediately brought him a medicine bag. There are several swimming pools, and it feels very comfortable to swim and watch the stars at night!
