La Reserve Ramatuelle is truly the best hotel in world. A true 5 Star hotel in every single category. Do yourself a favor and stay here; you will never want to leave. In addition, if you are traveling with small children. This hotel is a must. My husband and I traveled to La Reserve Ramatuelle with our 7 month old and everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful for her. The crib, the baby lotion, baby wipes, baby bubble bath, etc was extremely thoughtful and was the icing on the cake to a perfect stay. Not to mention, they gifted our daughter with a stuffed La Reserve Elephant and it is something she sleeps with every night still. Hats Off to the most special perfect hotel with incredible rooms, incredible staff, and an incredible experience.

This was our third stay at La Reserve Ramatuelle. This property just keeps getting better! Our room and many other have recently been renovated and they did a great job, a significant upgrade. The staff were all very helpful and well trained. The property over all is in great condition. The spa services and massage therapist were quite capable. In particular Philippe, the chief concierge continues to provide valuable recommendations. Be sure to use him and his associate. The food in the restaurants is quite good with a highly regarded chef and staff. The menu in the Brasserie and pool area could use a few more standard items for those who want a simple meal . Overall, this was an enjoyable visit to this 5 star resort.

La Reserve Ramatuelle would get 6 stars if one more were available. The service was spectacular. The views from everywhere were outstanding. Our room was the best I had ever stayed in, and I travel extensively. Our first night, we ate at La Voile, a 2-star Michelin restaurant, and every bite was fantastic. I am going to run out of adjectives to describe the full experience at this hotel. We will be going back!

From my experience La Reserve Ramatuelle is probably the best hotel in Europe, for location, services, elegance and understatment luxury. Beautiful rooms, excellent restaurants, wonderful location on the beach (La Reserve a la plage). Is very expensive, but value for money is almost correct.

One of the most amazing hotel experiences, if not the absolute best, of my life. Everything was perfect, from the incredible 2 Michelin star restaurant (La Voile), to the impeccable service across the entire staff, including the resourceful Concierge team, to the beautiful physical setting of the hotel itself--each morning waking up to a gorgeous sunrise on horizon of the sea. I cannot speak highly enough of La Reserve Ramatuelle. If there is any downside, it is that the cost is high, but for a once in a lifetime experience, it was well worth it.

Truly confused by the service at this hotel and it’s status as the premier property in the region. I’ll start by saying that my wife and I have travelled around France more than once, and we understand French culture and how it may differ from what we’re often accustomed to. That said - at a property of this status and caliber we have been sorely disappointed. The service has been clunky and awkward at best, otherwise, downright rude and inattentive. We have only been here 1 night but we already feel strongly that we wouldn’t recommend it or come back unless things really turn around. We arrived very late in the evening, later than we expected due to travel delays. We let the staff know about our delayed arrival and that we’d like a speedy check in so that we could still make our 9:45 pm dinner reservation. The valet and a gentlemen from the front desk (not a concierge) greeted us immediately by name, took our bags swiftly, and they were incredibly kind and welcoming. We also had an excellent dinner at the Japanese restaurant - the food is delicious. That’s where our positive experience with the service ended. The next morning we asked to speak with the concierge to firm up our beach club and dinner reservations. When we sat down at the desk and introduced ourselves he never looked away from his computer screen. Noticing this, we asked if now was a bad time as we would be happy to come back later when he’s free, and he responded with “no” but he still never gave us his full attention. Because the weather was looking bad one of the days and because we missed the sunset our first night due to our travel delays, we wanted to switch two of our reservations. When we asked for the second change, the concierge very rudely said “a lot of switching reservations, huh.” I’m sure he meant it as a joke but it came off biting. We were appalled. No apology. Our overall experience with him was so sour that about an hour later, my wife wanted an extra room key (they only provided one), but she didn’t want to ask the front desk because we felt like we were being too much trouble. And we quickly realized what a shame that is and how truly unacceptable is it for a hotel of this caliber to make us feel that way for something so minuscule. That same morning, my wife wanted to send 3 few items of clothing to be dry cleaned or pressed. Knowing that same day turnaround requires an early drop off, she went to the lobby at 8. When she inquired about dry cleaning because we didn’t see a form in the room, concierge rudely told her just try looking again or call housekeeping. Even though she brought the clothing items with her to the lobby and they were literally in her hands. For $2,000/night, I would expect them to take them directly and say “of course, we’ll take care of it.” But no. So back to the room she went. Called housekeeping, filled out a form, and left the items outside the room at 8:55 am. The housekeeping manager said they’d come pick it up right now. W

I have never experienced a worst customer service of a hotel manager ever in my life. I’ve traveled the world for the past 40 years in luxury hotels, but that was about the worst I ever encountered the air condition didn’t work. It was so wet in my bed that I had to call at 3 o’clock in the morning to get my bed redone and my floors mopped. Lady Valerie just said this is how it is here and south of France. We have very high humidity. She wouldn’t even apologize. I do something to make our stay more comfortable. No change of room no acknowledging the fact that the room was not livable. They didn’t even give us a discount on a €3800 room. We weren’t able to sleep for two nights and if we did, we were in our bathrobes and on towels, in order not to get too wet. All I know the hotel is beautiful but that lady is just absolutely awful. Her name is Valerie Grange Again, just absolutely awful the way she treated us

On our honeymoon, my wife and I stayed here and it was nothing short of incredible. Aside from the beautiful room, gym and facilities, they had the single greatest service I've ever experienced. The story goes: We stayed four nights in THE nicest suite complete with a very large landscaped terrace. The room had just been renovated with a gorgeous modern design, in fact we took inspiration photos for the design of our new apartment in NYC. On night #2, my wife falls very ill (a stomach virus from... me), to the point where we had to seek medical assistance. At 2am, I call the concierge. Bastian, who spoke perfect English, came directly to our room and called the hospital who informed us that there was a six hour wait in the emergency room. The doctor on the phone instructed him to give her a specific medication that La Reserve luckily had on site. Bastian's care, demeanor, and swiftness at 3am really made us feel much more comfortable with the unfortunate situation. Bastian really acted like she was his own daughter. The medication worked and La Reserve called a doctor first thing in the morning who came to our room and sent someone from the hotel to the pharmacy in town when they opened. My wife thankfully recovered soon after. It was a very scary situation and La Reserve did all the right things. As mentioned, aside from being the most beautiful hotel ever, I highly recommend La Reserve for their incredible service, care, and attention to needs. Thank you to the entire La Reserve team but mainly Bastian!
