Great gym, beautiful pool, beautiful common area, this is a really great hotel with nice amenities! They have convenient laundry for guests. The only thing missing is I wish I had been some bottled water provided in the room and I wish they had been daily turn down service, but maybe that is because of the pandemic? It was all great otherwise.

Stayed at the North Raleigh Hilton for one night. Check in went very smoothly. I questioned the desk clerk regarding the complimentary breakfast that I would be receiving and she explained that even though I made a reservation on the Hilton website, the complimentary breakfast does not show up on their internal system. The room was very clean. My dissatisfaction had to do with the quality of the bedding. It was UNCOMFORTABLY too soft. Sadly, I was unable to get any sleep whatsoever due to the bedding. In addition, the pillows were feathery and provided no support whatsoever. Outside of the aforementioned, the hotel has adequate parking and adequate conference facilities.

Everything was great until...... My wife and I checked in Thursday for 3 nights. Upon check in, we were taken care of by Maria. Very sweet, attentive and had us on our way in no time. Thursday night was fine. Got up and went about our business Friday morning. Came back to the hotel Friday evening, head to the room and fell asleep quick. Then came Saturday morning. My wife is disabled, and we were on the 5th floor. We got to the elevator and waited about 4 or 5 minutes, and nothing happened. I called the front desk from my personal phone (the phone in our room wasn't hooked up) Was unfortunate to get a front desk person by the name of Kwamel. Very unprofessional individual. I asked if there was a problem with the elevators. He said yes, there were not working. I asked him how we were supposed to get downstairs. He directed me to where the stairs were. I advised him that my wife is disabled and not able to walk down 5 flights of stairs. In his own charming way, he had no other answer for me. I hung up and had to help my disabled wife down 5 flights of stairs with her walker and our cooler for the day. Took us about 25 minutes to get to the bottom as my wife had to take one step at a time holding on the guard rail with both hands. I had to stand under her so she wouldn't slip and fall. When I got to the front desk, I inquired how long they would be out. My wife and I were going to be at a convention all day but obviously needed them working before we got back later that night. Mr. Personality had no idea. I inquired what we were supposed to do if we get back and they are still not working as there was NO WAY my wife could WALK up 5 flights. He was very unsympathetic and showed no compassion whatsoever. There was another rep behind the desk. She kept quiet for a while which was probably better for her. She finally asked me to come to her. She looked in her computer and long story short, if they were not fixed by the time we got back we had a room on the 1st floor waiting for us. I would just need to clear everything out of our current room which of course I would. That reps name was Karen. She was very nice, polite and showed an interest in helping us. Kwamel showed NO SIGNS to help. He just stood there with his shirt untucked and looked like it had been slept in. Instead of being part of the solution he kept telling me no. Wonder if he would have felt the same way if it was his mom or his grandma that was disabled and had to walk down 5 flights of stairs. I called Karen later in the day and was told they got 1 side working but the other wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday (holiday weekend) I am very surprised they wouldn't have someone on call 24 hours a day in case something like this happens. Doesn't say much about how much they care about their guests. Got back to the hotel at around 8PM. We were greeted by Daniel. We told him what took place that morning. He was VERY apologetic and showed much sympathy. Kwamel should really take some notes from

This hotel has the worst front desk staff. The staff were made aware ahead of time that there would be no hot water for half of the 5th floor due to construction - but they still booked the rooms. They did inform the guests. It was 9:45 pm when I tried to shower before bed and that’s when I realized the water issue. At first, the staff were dismissive of the situation and stated there was nothing they could do because maintenance was gone for the day. When I insisted that I needed a shower, I was informed that I could change rooms. This meant packing up all of my belongings and unpacking again late at night. This was not feasible, so I asked to be able to just shower in the room that they were going to move me into. After some debate, the front desk staff finally granted me permission to do this, however, they knowingly gave me a key to a dirty room. The front desk staff told me to “just ignore the beds and stuff” because housekeeping had not yet cleaned the room since the prior guests checked out. I was disgusted and had to argue for a clean room with hot water. I was treated as though I was asking for an upgrade. Additionally, upon check out I asked for a receipt which is required for business reimbursement and the front desk staff stated that the printer was broken and she would have the receipt emailed. That also didn’t happen and upon returning home from my business trip, I had to make numerous phone calls to the hotel in order to finally have someone email the receipt. I will never stay here again. There are too many newer, nicer hotels in the area than to have to deal with this place. Common courtesy and customer service goes a long way - but staff at this hotel don’t even have the basics.

Can't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot.

GGuest UserWe booked out stay with friends for the Carolina Hurricanes Game. Great location, close enough to the arena but also surrounded by many great restaurants. The hotel had a nice bar, that stayed open pretty late after we got back from the game. we will be going back if the price is right for our next hockey game. The service and cleanliness was great.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff are always very friendly whenever I come to stay. Housekeeping tends to open my door before I can answer to their knock, they barely give me any time to respond before barging in. On my last day, housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am and proceeded to come on with little to no time to respond. Checkout wasn’t until 11-12 so I don’t understand why they had even come that early. The cleanliness of this hotel is always a hit or miss. My last stay, I noticed that there were orange stains all over the bedding and I didn’t notice until after I’d already slept in the bed.

CChaLoveI enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.

GGuest UserI felt the need to say a public thank you to Tenia at the check-in. My husband and I arrived earlier than the official check-in time and immediately Tenia explained that a large group had just left and housekeeping was working hard to get rooms ready. She took our luggage and pointed out the bar and lobby area where we could hang. I was exhausted from traveling early and proceeded to the nearest couch. Within 15-20 min Tenia came over and said she had a room for us because I ”looked so tired”. Thank God she did because I proceeded to get a 2 hour nap before our work dinner this evening. I know it doesn't sound like a huge deal but waiting another 4 hours would have been grueling and made dinner not nearly as enjoyable. In this day and time when customer service seems to have been shoved to the back of line and we now celebrate ”just showing up” --Tenia went over and beyond and you can tell she values her customers and her company. She is a fantastic ambassador for the Sheraton brand.

GGuest UserWe stayed there for a night and we loved it! The lady at the front desk was friendly, kind and funny! We shared a few laughs! The room was super big and it had everything! The King size bed was incredibly comfy and we rested and slept like babies. Breakfast was yummy. It had a lot of everything. Hot bacon, yummy potatoes, scrambled eggs, cereals, different types of bagels and bread, jams and cream cheese, waffles, fruit, juices, milk, chocolate milk, yogurt, coffee, tea… and Michelle was lovely! She kept cooking yummy food and asking everyone if there was anything we needed or wanted. Thank you Michelle!! The hotel has a heated pool but we tried going twice and it was packed with families and children so we couldn’t bother. Excellent location and free parking. Highly recommended!!!

DdavecJ8784XII was overall satisfied with my stay. My customer service representative Gayla did a great job checking me in‼️ She put me in one of the renovated rooms which was nice overall. Not a big fan of the style sink they chose to use, I like having more counter top space, shower pressure was excellent. I was not pleased with the fact that I had to leave a deposit and was told it’s because I used a 3rd party app to book‼️ I know this is nonsense and the real truth is for another review altogether‼️My room was on the 2nd floor and as I stepped off the elevator, was greeted with the overwhelming scent of ********* as I was also told at check in this was a 100% smoke free motel, which is the reason why I choose to stay here‼️ Here’s a thought: Maybe this hotel should do like other hotels I have stayed at and keep locals out or charge them more to sway them from renting a room in the first place then customers don’t have to deal with noise and non compliant people that ruin the experience for others‼️ This is part of the reason you ask for a deposit, to pay for the stupidity of those that steal from you and ruin your renovations to rooms that some like me actually enjoy‼️ Also, why should I be punished for saving money as I travel for my work by using 3rd party apps when locals come in to party and do things they can’t or wouldn’t do elsewhere because they have no regard to others and eventually enough bad reviews will hurt you overall then the only people left that will rent rooms are your undesirables‼️
