Despite a difficult beginning, they managed to take our feedback and exceed expectations. The hotel is a tourist destination by itself.

Wow, wow, wow what a fantastic find and what a fantastic experience. A special mention to Dr Nidhya and Jeena who work in the Ayurvedic Spa.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable furnishings. However, the Wi-Fi connection was a bit spotty at times. The hotel's location was convenient, close to various attractions. The on-site amenities, like the fitness center and restaurant, added to the overall positive impression. Despite minor issues, I would consider staying here again.

This is a very special place: a peaceful rural spot beautifully located amongst green fields and surrounded by hills. The building is a former palace, converted to preserve the historic features. Little stone staircases lead off in all directions, leading to courtyards and alcoves with seats where you can admire one photogenic view after another. The bedroom suites are individually unique, spacious, comfortable and quirky. The key to any hotel is the staff and here they were first class. There was always someone there to do whatever was needed to make us comfortable, available immediately but without being obtrusive. All we met were polite and attentive, and there must be excellent kitchen staff, as the food was exceptional. We were looked after in particular by Amit Bahuguna, a charming and knowledgable waiter, who was always able to assist and advise, making us feel like the Maranas (Maharajahs) who lived here in the past. This is a place which will live on in your memories for many years.

It is a beautiful hotel, with excellent service. However like many Forts, it is not designed for handicapable guests and young kids. We spent just a night here and it was a hike from Udaipur airport. The welcome was exceptionally warm. The setting sun made the Fort glow. After we checked-in, we took advantage of the complimentary camel rides. A wee bit scary but worth it! Over drinks we asked about our complimentary dinner - courtesy of I Prefer - expecting some cheap buffet! We were told that we could order anything we wanted from the menu and they really meant anything and everything! They served us with style and thoughtfulness. When one of us did not order an appetizer, they brought her a dish to taste. Exquisite service with exceptional food. Try the Thali, it comes with unlimited refills - unlike at Oberoi Udaivilas! Oh, they also surprised the honeymooning couple with a cake but by then, it was too late as we were very well satiated! So , why not perfect? After the sumptuous breakfast next morning, we walked/climbed around the property and discovered that most of the rooms in the upper tower were empty. Why then did they give us - and others - a room in the Garden area versus a room with a view?! A missed opportunity! BTW, the Garden room was more like a Junior Suite and was very very nice. It had a veranda where we enjoyed our morning tea. The other 'lack of perfection' was the staff moving/setting tables after breakfast around the pool. while we were trying to enjoy the pool. When we pointed out the not-so-clean hot tub, the staff immediately got to work. Overall, worth a visit. Stay longer to unwind and enjoy the very well trained staff. The GM, Mr. Upadhya (?) is an outstanding host!

My wife and myself stayed at Devi Garh for two nights enjoying a nice package including breakfast and one lunch/dinner per day for 31'500INR. The place is beyond any expectations. The view over the village is amazing and enjoying the sunset over the hills is a must, preferably at the bar on the 1st floor with a Martini Bianco on your right hand. The staff are really taking care of us and have had small & cute attentions for our wedding anniversary. A nice "happy anniversary" made with rose petals was prepared while we were out, and a nice warm bath full of petals was prepared for our confortable evening. The food is delicious (we tried Rajasthani/Thai/Continental Breakfast). There is a nice choice of activities to try, but we haven't. You are approximately 30 minutes drive from Lake Pichola (Udaipur) which is good as when you get back to your hotel, you feel the break with the stress of the city. Birds are constantly singing and you can only be happy of that... Relaxing all ***** the way ! Best Hotel in the region, trust me !
