I recently stayed at jai nivas palace, kumbhalgarh for what was supposed to be a two-night stay, but i checked out after just one night due to the unprofessional behavior of the staff. From the moment i arrived, my wife felt uncomfortable with their rude and dismissive attitude, which made the experience unpleasant. Person name ganesh who according to receptionist he is incharge of restaurant was so rude with my wife while ordering food. After all my discussion with the hotel manager and around 12 in night i told then to refund my money for second night as i will check in the next morning they told me go and ask for cancellation to make my trip we will not refund you the money. Given the lack of courtesy and poor customer service, i decided to leave and find another hotel. I would not recommend staying here unless improvements are made to their staff training and guest relations. At last food quality was low grade. I will again mention ganesh who is the main culprit if you are going to stay with your wife, sister, mother please avoid this hotel. At last makemytrip should stop sponsoring such places. Very bad as makemytrip shows it into mmt section. Very very bad experience.

The hotel is overrated. It is located in a deserted place. The hotel has limited staff and room service was pathetic. Even the food was average. While the hotel claims to be a luxury resort, they do not have basic amenities like door bells. The geyser stopped working and there was no one to attend it. We had to call a minimum 10 times for anyone to attend any room service. In our 3 days and 2 night stay there was not a single time the housekeeping staff came for room cleaning. Even after our request to clean the room the housekeeping staff did not come. Very pathetic experience. It is overpriced. The rate of this hotel should not be more than 2000 to 3000 for a night.
