Hotel Paramount

Not worth visiting please find alternative places. I Visited with my family, first of all it does not seem like a resort but more like a hostel. It's under staffed and the employee don't treat you like a customer but more like a an hostel inmate. Secondly the condition of the rooms is very poor- soiled bedsheets, stained walls, broken furniture. We had booked three rooms and all were same condition. The food is very simple and will remind you of your hostel days. They are very slow to replenish. There are better places at the same or even lesser price. The ***agement must focus on providing the value for money rather than cutting cost everywhere.

We 30 senior citizens from Mumbai went to Matheran with advance booking to Hotel Paramount. 1. They committed something, they are showing something on website and they are doing contradictorily after check in. 2. Hotel ***ager and other front desk staff are totally non cooperative and liar. 3. There were no room service staff on duty, it took 2 hours for to check in the rooms. 4. Most dirtiest rooms i ever seen my life of a hotel. 5. Even food services and stuffs were so tasteless and insufficient that almost we were hungry. 6. We recommend every traveller not to book and visit such 3rd grade hotel.

Worst service.. No water in bathroom. If complained no one listen to guest. Food gets finished quickly they take time to refill & wait for time to get as they have 90 minutes slot only. Don’t serve tea between 3 to 5 pm. Don’t waste time & money. Poor service & 3rd class hotel.

They have basically accepted that they are at a declining phase and enroute to a per***ent closure. Pathetic staff and the worst possible hotel ***ager. One of the worst hotel of matheran..No clean rooms..No ambience..No food quality and service..Please keep this hotel as last option if you won't find any hotel in matheran..This hotel is 1 star hotel.. Whoever has given a good review and ratings are internal members of paramount only.

Hotel staff were not cooperative. Rooms are very dusty and untidy. Food quality was bad. Playing area for kids had broken accessories. We had booked AC room but the hotel staff gave us non-AC room We were checked in on the first floor room which was unhygienic and a hazard for Health and safety. Solid strained bed sheet. That's what a freshly checked-in room looks like . Toilet not cleaned .Their towels look like they are mops and they don’t get changed. We checked out before our check out time. No soup bowl, scarcity of tissue papers that’s common. All sweets were made of milk powder. One thing is sure it’s a trap that you get in once you land in this very BAD HOTEL. Overall, its a must avoid if you want to have tension free vacation at this hill station. Very very bad hoteling experience.

Annoying, unhygienic, & A HEALTH HAZARD      Do not go by the pictures on the website...it has a bad present & surely no better future. Do not fall for all that is told to you by Mr. Amit  as he is not at the property and is in the booking office Mumbai  you will find a different  bad  unhygienic  & disturbing scenario at the property . Check in experience. We were checked in on the first floor room which was unhygienic and a hazard for Health and safety. Solid strained bed sheet which was torn. That's what a freshly checked-in room looks like . Toilet not cleaned with lodes of pest in wash room if you have kids be careful with spiders & Dangerous centipede (goam commonly called.)Aunts and maggots are common! Yes maggots We had a maggot creeping all over the room and ants eating them. Your towels look like they are mops and they don’t get changed. The most unhygienic part is housekeeping won’t bother to give you a wet towel. That's the hygiene here.You don’t get your room serviced if you are staying for two days nighter your dustbins are cleaned and all maggots and antus around it .   Food Smart rotational menu is planned  where dishes are always the same with a change of names. and yes big jargon specials just to blow your dream land . Expect lots  of house flies on your food as food is not kept covered and it’s not definitely warm (Get ill soon .) Do not fall for package deals with food as it’s not worth it. FORGET ABOUT F&B ETHEQUES (No soup bowl on scarcity of tissue papers that’s common We felt so royal eating the so-called sahi tukda    . Ohhhh its milk reduced with corn flour and fried bread. One thing is sure it’s a trap that you get in once you land IN THIS BAD HOTEL. Overall, its a must avoid if you want to have tension free vacation at this hill station.  

It was a great experience staying in Hotel Paramount . Veg food experience was amazing food quality was good and tasty. All staff is very helpful and polite Arvindji is very supportive and all restaurant staff was very good . Enjoyed a lot and it was a pleasant stay and hotel is near to the market.
