Ragusa Hotels with Swimming Pools

Amazing stay, lovely and quiet hotel. But the best of the best is GONZALO he treats you like family. I really recommend to have dinner in the hotel, the food that Gonzalo offers is another level and with a very fair price. Thanks from London it was lovely

Located out in the fields about 10 km from town. The hotel privately owned is old world & beautiful. Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. We had a room with a lovely balcony, were we sat each night. Very comfortable beds. The restaurant carries the prices of the Michelin hat it achieve in 2018. We did not eat there as we did not fancy the menu, but mainly the 4 euro cover charge p/p the highest cover charge we have seen in the 10 weeks we have been in Italy & Sicily. The breakfast is lovely, a large variety on offer, The first breakfast offer where the hot food is actually hot. The only negative the cleaners do not include the balcony in their cleaning routine, our table was filthy & a sun chair had droppings on it reception tried to tell us it may have rained????? beautiful blue skies, & if so why wasn't it cleaned during our stay.

We stayed in 10 hotels/b&b’s during our time in Sicily and many were lovely but La Casa Del Gelsomino stood out from the crowd. The room & bathroom were nice sizes and very comfortable. We had a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table overlooking the garden & pool and city view. Breakfast was delicious with many homemade and local made treats. Giovanna goes out of her way to be helpful. The garden is lovely & relaxing. The pool an absolute delight.  We didn’t have time to use the hot tub. Easy walking from the B&B to anywhere. Highly recommend.  (Our GPS did not properly direct us to the property so I’ll include here that you need to drive on what looks like a pedestrian street through the main town square under a tunnel and follow the street around a curve one block up. It is really easy but didn’t seem so the first time we did it. )

L'hotel si trova lungo la strada di collegamento tra Ragusa e Marina di Ragusa da cui dista circa 12 km. Per spostarsi, quindi, bisogna disporre necessariamente di un veicolo. La struttura è molto carina, con una grande piscina, la palestra, ristorante e bar. Dispone di ampi spazi, tra cui anche un anfiteatro per spettacoli ed un ampio parcheggio interno gratuito. Le camere sono spaziose con affaccio sulla piscina (la nostra) ed il letto comodissimo con topper. Tv 42” ed aria condizionata regolabile dagli ospiti. C'è anche un piccolo frigo con due bottigliette di acqua gratuite e, nel bagno, i soliti accessori. Veramente fantastico il buffet per la colazione soprattutto per chi (come noi) gradisce il dolce e la frutta la mattina. Abbiamo trovato, infatti, diverse specialità di dolci con crema ed alla mandorla e frutta di diversi generi. In conclusione, un ottimo soggiorno anche se solo per una notte ma ci sarebbe piaciuto poter rimanere per una settimana. Sconsigliato per chi non ha la macchina e viaggia con i mezzi pubblici.

This is a stylish boutique hotel. Rooms are well appointed and larger than a modern hotel and feel special. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast is OK, although not really anything special. But it is a long way from Ragusa Ibla (old town), and you need a car - 4k by road to the nearest car park. But don't let that put you off as you will probably be in a car anyway. The staff were all really great and gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The only thing that we weren't too keen on (in May) was that the sun disappeared from the pool area a little early, and would be the only reason we might look elsewhere if we return, but we did enjoy our stay.

Location all'impatto non ti dà l'area di hotel a 4 stelle. Struttura con dettagli trascurati. La camera do la sufficienza è accogliente è pulita, ma i materassi non erano comodi per il mio tipo di standard.La colazione molto deludente con il minimo essenziale. I servizi pessimi, domenica mi ritrovo in piscina senza sdraio perché già riservati suppongo a gente esterna perché ad ogni sdraio c'era il cognome e per me che ero alloggiato li dopo una lamentela hanno dovuto risolvere il problema recuperando sdraio da qualche parte.Piscina sporca da insetti e non pulita abbastanza.Le sdraio molte vecchie, pavimento in legno trascurato. Il mio check in di pomeriggio é stato ben accogliente dal ragazzo della reception. Al prezzo avrei dato qualcosa in meno perché non ne vale la pena. Mi dispiace sono rimasto insoddisfatto.

Great location on a hilltop close to the highway with amazing views from the pool. Perfect to visit surrounding g cities of Modica and Ragusa. Rooms are clean and renovated in the newer section with modern conveniences. Breakfast in the gorgeous dining room was great. Lots of hot and cold choices The staff is exceptional and super helpful. I had a massage from a traveling therapist, which was amazing. A special thank you to Margherita, Antonio, and the owner who went out of their way to make us comfortable. It was a little windy to enjoy the pool unfortunately, but after all it is Spartivento.

Used this place as a base for touring the hill towns of South East Sicily. We found it well located to get to Scicli, Modica and of course Ragusa. All within 20 minutes drive. We arrived late on a Sunday and helpful lady on reception gave us great recommendation. Lovely big room, spacious parking area and big plot to roam. Inviting swimming pool with lots of loungers - bit too cold to use in May though. Poppies and wildflowers abound the grounds. Environmentally conscious theme. Local products well in evidence at breakfast. Good choice of food and great fresh blood orange juice! Overall incredible value. Would come back!
