Tenuta Cammarana

We are sorry to have to write this review, we are not used to writing them but this one comes from inside us! We were guests for a week of Mrs. Silvia and her husband who welcomed us to their B&B in Ragusa. A tasty location, traditional breakfast with pizza and homemade desserts, ricotta and local cheeses, fruit etc... being a B&B dinners are not guaranteed and are made if there is a minimum number of guests. During our stay there were some Americans as guests so we had the privilege of tasting the home cooking for 2 evenings! The first evening they served us a pacchero alla norma and then a small vegetable buffet, to finish with ice cream. The second evening we ate couscous with mussels followed by mixed fried food with salad and a slice of cassata! 1 bottle of wine for each evening, including a very good grecanico for €12! I forgot, before the dinners we had an aperitif with chips and a glass of wine! Moral of the story…the bill was €580 for 2 dinners, 2 aperitifs and 2 granitas without brioche that we asked for upon arrival! We would probably have spent less at the Ritz hotel in Paris! On top of that, on the penultimate day they didn’t even make up our room! In conclusion, do as the Germans do and ask how much it costs in advance!

Für mich ist ein „Pretty Hotel“ ein Sigel, das für mich besondere Hotels auszeichnet. Auch die Tenuta ist ein Pretty Hotel, weshalb ich unbedingt dort übernachten wollte. Es hat uns auch prinzipiell gut gefallen, aber leider kann ich nicht die volle Punktzahl geben, da einfach etwas gefehlt hat. Aber hier erst mal alles Positive: +tolles altes Anwesen, mit besonderem Charme, abgelegen in netter Landschaft. +schöne Zimmer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit bequemem Bett und einer guten Mischung aus alt und neu. +das Frühstück ist das absolute Highlight! Toller Wintergarten, schönes Ambiente, sehr nettes Frühstückspersonal. Also wirklich sehr viel, was absolut schön war! Was jedoch nicht so toll war, war die Ankunft. Man hat nicht genau gefunden, wo es nun rein geht und es war erst niemand zu sehen. Als die Besitzerin dann kam, war sie schon nett, nur leider nicht so herzlich, wie wir es in anderen Unterkünften hatten. Wir haben sie während des gesamten Aufenthalts auch nicht mehr gesehen. Und besonders enttäuschend war der Pool. Es war sehr wenig Wasser drin und alles rund um den Pool war einfach ungepflegt und unansprechend. Wir haben uns am Pool nicht wohl gefühlt und dort dann auch keine Zeit verbracht.

Un posto meraviglioso, quasi fiabesco, fuori dalla città, immerso nella natura. Curato nei dettagli, i proprietari carini e gentili non tralasciano nulla. Bellissimi i giardini e la piscina, le camere pulite e fornite di ogni accessorio. Ottima la cucina e ricca colazione con prodotti fatti in casa buonissimi. Luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e trascorrere giornate indimenticabili.

Super nettes und freundliches und bemühtes Personal! Sehr liebevolles Anwesen mit vielen sehr netten Details! Absolut authentisch und sehr nah an Land und Leuten! Anreise mit dem Auto empfehlenswert, dann liegen sehr viele Attraktionen in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Anche quest’estate siamo tornati a Cammarana nel mese di Agosto. È sempre un’emozione tornare in un luogo conosciuto, amato e sempre ricco di novità. La cura e la perfezione nei dettagli si nota dalle colazioni alle piccole attenzioni riservate agli ospiti. Quest’anno abbiamo partecipato alle passeggiate botaniche organizzate al tramonto nei campi della proprietà con l’osservazione di piante autoctone e della piccola fauna (upupa, tortore, cavaliere d’Italia, civetta nana..). Lo staff gentile e preparato, i proprietari sempre presenti per qualunque necessità. La piscina tra carrubi e eucalipti è un luogo di relax e benessere. Magnifici i fiori di zucca fritti dell’orto.
