Raglan Kopua Holiday Park

We stayed there 3 days just prior to Easter. Absolutely enjoyed the holiday park and Raglan, surf beaches and town and surrounding bays. Very friendly staff and nice quiet campsite with good clean facilities. Will go back again at some stage. 😀

In all our travels in the North Island ,staying in caravan parks . This is the only place where the receptionists were sour and non responsive . I couldn't believe how cold they both were. Mono syllable answers. I walked in to book a site and both were tapping away at their computers, no recognition, no, I'll be with u in a sec . Nothing ! Then one deigned to look up , said nothing , just stared at me . Great I thought . Ice maiden . Not the woman for that job .

Me & my family recently stayed at Raglan Holiday Park with our motor home.  Nothing luxurious but the staff is very friendly and place is well-maintained.  They have all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay.  Highly recommend it to everyone who travels around in New Zealand.

Receptionist were so unfriendly, rude, unsympathetic, and not willing to compromise on mistake made by them. We confirmed our booking 3 times for it to still be messed up, and had a rude response from the receptionists who would still made us pay for their mistake and blamed us for the booking being wrong, despite walking around the park with them confirming everything

My family and I came to stay and they had stuffed up our bookings even though we confirmed our bookings in person a week prior of our stay and continued to blame us for their mistake. Was very unprofessional and will not be coming back.would recommend others to not stay at the camp either unless they get staff who know what their doing.

The staff here need to learn how to book /check in people properly as we have stayed at the camp several times and the have stuffed up our bookings every time. Even after we comfrimed the bookings in person 2 weeks before our stay. Will not be coming back.

I've had so many great stays over many years, but this one was the worst!!! The wifi on the TV wasn't working and the hair dryer stopped working, they tried to fix the issues, so I had people disturbing my peace and quiet all afternoon and evening. They couldn't fix the TV so offer me another unit next door. It wasn't anywhere as nice as the one I'd paid for, but a least I had entertainment. I hadn't moved all my stuff over because I'd finally got a break to have my meal only to be interrupted by a really rude security person telling me to move all my stuff right now!!! In this unit the fridge was really noisy, I couldn't stand the noise, but the rude security person said it was "normal", I couldn't stand it so turned it off, my food got spoiled. I had a really s#*!!y night and not much sleep. In the morning, I discussed it with the office staff, they said they went, "above & beyond" which I appreciated, BUT REALLY, they should be checking everything works before guests arrive!!!! No apology or compensation offered!!! They really need to improve their services!!!! Unfortunately, they have a monopoly so if you do go and stay there be sure ask that they have checked everything is working properly before you pay. Good Luck.

Civil works in the park while we were there were noisy and unsightly. A large pump was going 24/7 which was noisy when sleeping at night. Tradesman starting work on machinery woke us up each morning. I feel you should tell your visitors about the works in the park. A discount for the inconvenience and noise would have been nice. Amenities were clean, kitchen area was large, well appointed and had plenty of equipment and was also very clean. Close walk to town. The low rating is for the inconvenience of the civil works and the noise and not being reasonable in offering a refund for leaving a day early. I would still recommend this park (once the works are completed).

The facilities at Raglan Holiday Park are fantastic! Clean and modern. We will be back Raglan Holiday Park. Location Location Location! The beach is 2 minutes walk from my campsite and town is only 8 minutes. The reception staff were lovely and friendly.
