The resort is amazing. We went with friends in April and had a great time. It is a little more quiet and not really a 'party' resort, so if that is what you are looking for, perhaps consider a different option. We aren't party people, so we loved the quiet atmosphere and being able to get to know everyone. We met many other guests on the resort who we played games with and spent time chatting with. The food was great and the menu at the Coral restaurant changed daily. Breakfast and lunch are a buffet, while dinner is a la carte. There were enough options that you could always find something you wanted to eat (and this is coming from a group with two very picky eaters), and the option to order more than one dish ensured that you would be well fed by the time dinner was done. If you wanted additional items or to change it up, the buffet on the Selection side is available. They have a wider variety so it was nice to vary our meals. The staff was amazing. Everyone made us feel welcome and were quick to help or offer advice if needed. Carlos, the entertainer, is always energetic and was happy to see us each day. We spent a lot of time with him during his aquafit and dance classes, and played many games of pool volleyball with him. He also is an amazing singer and guitar player, and performed each Monday night in the Coral bar. Oscar in the Coral restaurant is hilarious. We made a joke about one of our friends on the first night we were there, and he remembered and kept it going each time we saw him. Gyongyi the event coordinator is so sweet and keeps things fun and interesting with theme nights for the guests to participate in. While we were there, we got to experience pirate night, rockabilly night, and the retro party, all of which were great fun. Our butler Yarian was incredibly helpful and kind. Lisbet at the breakfast buffet makes amazing omelets and hot cakes. She was so sweet, and offered to make us sandwiches to take with us on the day we left since we wouldn't be there for lunch. Daniel, one of the groundskeepers, was great to talk to, as were all of the staff. Dayana and Alexander at the pool bar always had a smile on their faces, and made the best pina coladas I've ever had. We chatted with and made friends with everyone, including the lifeguards, servers, cleaners, and the men who delivered the water each morning. I loved the pool. The temperature was great, and if you find it too cold early in the day, it will warm up around lunch. It runs the length of the resort essentially, and has plenty of space so you never feel crowded. It also has two bridges that cross it so you can access either side quickly. The volleyball net is set up between two trees and runs across an area near the pool bar. We stayed in a ground floor Junior Suite in the 15 block, so the pool was only steps away. Ground floor suites feature an outdoor shower, which was really nice actually. Outside, each ground floor room features a patio with chairs and a small
