Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge

I would NOT recommend staying at this property. The view was nice, but that was really all we liked about it. To start, I had requested an early checkin and was not told about the $50 fee when I called. When I went to checkin, I was told that there was nothing she could do about it, even though I was never informed of it. When we got to the room, it was freezing, I tried calling a couple times to get this resolved as we were unable to find a thermostat and when they finally called back, I was told to increase the heat using the knob on the baseboard heating. It is an older motel, but not in a cute, quant way, it is more in a dingey way. The tub had stains, the walls had stains, the floors had stains, the mini fridge made so much noise we had to unplug it at night and we could hear the water running in all of the rooms next to us. The parking lot is also very small and there is not enough parking for the amount of rooms they have. Let alone if someone is eating at the restaurant. There was a couple of times we had to park on the street and hope that we wouldn't get a ticket or towed (there was no signage about overflow parking). The worst part, though, was the bed. The mattress was very thin and caved in in the middle. You could feel the springs all night and we both woke up in extreme pain both mornings. Was definitely not the mini vacation we had hoped for.

The view was great! However the room was not as great. There was little or no hot water, wasn’t able to have a shower at all. Desk staff said to be patient, we were , but after trying for over two hours the water didn’t even get warm

It was very dated and the walls are very thin so you can hear everything from rooms on either side of you. It was not too expensive and the view from our room was amazing! I saw on our booking that there would be breakfast included but no one told us where it was or at what time so we missed out on that. Overall it was ok.

We walked in and immediately walked out, unfortunately they make you pay for the room beofre you see it which makes sense now, because of how dirty it is. The mattress was stained, carpets were all stained, coffee pot looked like it hadnt been cleaned in weeks. We walked in and instantly felt dirty. They attempted to make it better by coming in to clean with one dirty rag and a spray bottle of who knows what, however no amount of cleaning with a spray bottle would have made it clean enough for me to stay. That place needs a serious deep clean and updating, i would never stay there again. The customer service is none existent, if you look at all the bad reviews the management takes no responsibility for anything and just blames the customers. The location was good, but the view was not worth it. We ended up staying at invermere INN which was cheaper, so clean and comfortable, plus they give you a goody bag for your dogs! DO NOT STAY HERE!

The bathroom the toilet the room and the beds were dirty. We payed the room breakfast. Breakfast time 8-10. We went to eat at 9, and run out almost everything for this time. A few families was there and we talked what we eat,.... We called the reception number and the reception man and lady arrived about 20 minutes later and we still didn't get breakfast. When they arrived didn't say hi or good morning, didn't apologize and didn't bring any food. We will never go back. Absolutely negative reviews 😒.

This place has a beautiful location and view. The building is run down. There is no service. No breakfast as advertised no upkeep

Room was very good. Mountain view was very awesome. There was nothing on breakfast. But allover it was very good experience

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stay at the hotel. As soon as we came into the room, we found that this is so cold inside and heat system doesn’t work correctly. Room is so dirty and cigarette smoke smells is strong. We give keys back to the reception and coming to another hotel today

The reviews dont match the conditions of this motel. While i had a great view from my balcony, it was not really enjoyable. The room was dirty and run down. Marks all over the walls, dirt and dust, stains on the carpets and walls, and dirty bedsheets with hair in them. The living room.light didnt work and the balcony door didnt even have a lock or a latch. It was cold with no temperature control. The heaters on the floor did not work well. The free breakfast in the morning was 30 minutes late and there was noone around it was all locked up and dark. When it was finally there it was cold coffee, dried out mini mufffins, granola bars and hard boiled eggs. The second morning at least saw hot coffee but leftover eggs and not enough for people. The whole time i was there i saw no attendant. Very poor conditions with very poor service. Its too bad really, as it could be fantastic in this location. I wont be back and will tell others to stay away.
