Hotel Picasso

My husband and I recently visited Albania and our first stop was Hotel Picasso. We were greeted with open arms and the owners of the hotel made a special gesture by hanging a Canadian flag at their reception to welcome us. The room was perfect. Modern and clean with a very comfortable bed. We had the most beautiful view from our terrace and it was lovely and so peaceful to sit out at night, watching the beautiful sea. We spent a lot of time at the pool relaxing in the most comfortable loungers and the umbrella provided was great when we needed to get out of the sun for a while. There were always enough chairs for everyone throughout the day so I didn't have to worry about saving them in the early morning like I do in North America. Although we didn't really sit at the private beach very much, it also had more than enough chairs and umbrellas and was lovely. The buffet breakfast provided every day was plentiful and delicious and you could definitely see the pride the owners took in ensuring this. And last but not least, the owners Mona and Piero were so friendly and hospitable. They went out of their way to ensure not only our experience but all guests' experience at the hotel was top notch. Piero would guide and help the guests with their parking. Mona would be running around ensuring everything at the breakfast was perfect for the guests. They answered any questions we had and provided suggestions of things to do in the area, as well as things to see on the way to our next stop in Vlore. My husband and I had several conversations with them and truly enjoyed their company. We would definitely recommend this hotel to ours. I DO NOT RECOMMEND accommodation! We stayed there for 2 nights and personal belongings and cash were stolen by the cleaner!!! After reporting to the reception, no interest in normal communication. The owner was unpleasant, arrogant and did nothing to fix it. We had 3 rooms together and the theft happened on two different floors. For example, they also stole cigarettes ... personal items and cash that was in the pocket of the clothes. It's quite an unpleasant feeling to know that a stranger has been rummaging through your things. The beach is a big mess, and in the bathroom there is no shower gel in the shower. The electricity in the room went out every now and then. I definitely do not recommend the hotel, this has never happened to us before (and we hope that it will never happen again). This is the number one hotel on Tripadvisor in Radhimë for good reason! It is not flash or very modern but they make up for it with professionalism and hospitality. The whole staff from the owners to the waiters and house cleaning all make you welcome and genuinely try to help make your stay the best it can be. The pool is a good size with lots of loungers and if it is busy, they have lots more loungers across the road on the beach. The beach, like many in the area, is a pebble beach. The rooms are a decent size with a large comfortable bed. The shower is a large modern one with great water pressure from a rainfall head. Breakfast is decent but after a week it can be a bit repetitive. Only two fruit options, melon and watermelon. One yogurt, natural. Two cereals, cornflakes or choco balls. The savoury and cooked options are very good. Top Hotel… Highly Recommended

Beautiful hotel in a quite area of Vlore. We really enjoyed our stay in Albania and the kids loved being there. We will definitely recommend friends and family to visit. The hotel owners (Mona amd her husband) were very nice to us. They gave us any information of activities in local area eg visiting the Caves using the local fisherman speed boats which are just a couple of minutes walk. We appreciate the hospitality we received.

Hosts are the kindest Location is great Breakfast very nice Pool very good, but, it would be great if they had something more attractive for the kids. Clean and spacey rooms. Great restaurants nearby

This owner/operator hotel is in a great location on the Albanian Riveria. The owners are a lovely couple who provide excellent customer service! They help everyone feel so welcome. I even received flowers on my birthday during my brief stay! Our room facing the sea was spacious, spotless, well appointed, airy, and had a huge deck that enjoyed morning shade, and was the perfect spot for a private, relaxing coffee. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot and cold items, local honey and jams, fresh fruit and plenty of tasty coffee. Their beach across the street has plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas, and the sea water is clean and gorgeous. If you prefer a pool, they have a large clean pool, with a view of the sea, and plenty of lounge chairs. They support Albanian artists so there was beautiful artwork everywhere including the rooms. Highly recommend!!
