Ich habe eine Nacht im Hotel und 2 Tage im Seminarraum des Hotels verbracht und war insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Gutes Essen mit lokalem Flair (zB Desserts mit Dirndl, Dirndlessig), sehr engagiertes Personal, insbesondere Niko (Nico?) der auch die sehr originelle "Almolympiade" (=heißer Tipp für Team-Offsites) nett und kompetent auf Deutsch und Englisch moderiert hat. Ich war in einem sehr geräumigen "Genusszimmer" untergebracht. Einziger Schwachpunkt (auch im Seminarraum): äußerst volatile W-Lan-Verbinung, was für Geschäftsreisen suboptimal ist und insgesamt eher frisch im Zimmer mit sehr dünner Bettdecke. Ansonsten alles bestens, werde das Hotel auch Kolleg:innen als Seminarhotel-Location empfehlen.

Wir waren für ein WE im Wildkräuterhotel Steinschalterhof. Gleich vorweg, das ganze Personal war freundlich und hatte auch Humor. Das Essen war sehr gut und mehr als reichlich für Normalesser. Das Frühstücksbuffet groß und abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel hat einen urigen Charakter, der vielleicht nicht jedem behagen mag, uns hats gut gefallen. Eine eigene Mischung aus alt und neu. Im Hofladen gibt es viel Gutes zu kaufen. Wunderbar ist auch die direkte Lage an der Mariazellerbahn (für öffentliche Anreise und für Ausflüge), die wirklich nur von sensiblen Ohren zu hören ist. Die einzige kleine Kriitk, die meine Mutter anbringen kann, wäre, dass ihr das Bett zu niedrig war. Sie konnte daraus kaum selbst aufstehen. Leider haben wir vergessen, das auch direkt bei der Rezeption anzumerken. Ist aber nicht böse gemeint, nur eine Anmerkung. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es jedem weiter empfehlen, der ein gemütlich-österreichisches Hotel mit eigenem Charme und Charakter möchte.
