Rabat, an authentic place with very friendly Maltese people, who we chatted with, and saw in a wedding. A lot of restaurants in Rabat with delicious food and hotel ”Myn” is a central place to visit the island. We did this holiday by car for a week in April 2022, but you can also explore the island by bus. We combined this trip with one day GOZO and had there the St. George festival in Victoria, a welcome surprise. The water was 15 degrees but the temperatur outside was 20 and very sunny almost whole week in April. ”Myn” is a very nice hotel, we (a couple) had a dubble room in Myn, which was clean, had a good bed, and was just in the centre of Rabat and with walking distance of Mdina. This is the second time I have stayed at this very special boutique hotel. The hotel is run extremely well with the staff being friendly and efficient, the food was absolutely delicious and our bed was extremely comfortable with beautifully soft pillows. My one criticism is that there were far too many people visiting the hotel who were not residents. On the Saturday and Sunday it was impossible to get a sun bed around the swimming pool and the guests were extremely noisy. One woman who brought a group of friends had won a day at the hotel. For two hours the group conducted a very loud three way conversation in the pool shouting at the top of their voices and had no respect for the hotel residents at all. This sort of behaviour in a small boutique hotel is unacceptable and not what we expected. Sadly due to the above we probably won’t be coming back. I thought I had found a quiet little gem in the middle of Malta, but it has become so noisy and crowded that it spoilt our weekend.

Everything was excellent. Fantastic place. Very kind staff and helpful. Food was excellent and plenty of choices. We celebrated our birthdays so the receptionist surprised us with extra upgrades. Special thanks to Henrik and the whole team of Ben's. Highly recommended the place and the atmosphere as well.

It was so good that I thought it was a pity that I only stayed for one night. The Mediterranean restaurant located inside the resort was not very tasty, but the breakfast was very good. It was an English breakfast buffet (sausage, bacon, eggs, etc.), and there was also a little Turkish breakfast menu (ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber). The staff were friendly and the amenities were good~ It's nice to see nearby Bujiba.

We booked a room with 2 beds and the Maltese balcony, for 10 nights - it was a WONDERFUL experience - even before we arrived, I had very friendly email contact with Marisa - checking details for my friend who is a bit disabled. Altogether, the room was a delight - beautifully appointed yet very historic, in the golden stonework of the Medina area. The view was wonderful, of the countryside at sunrise and through the day, and peeking down on diners on the terraces below in the evenings! The breakfasts were so generous we skipped lunch! We were blessed with hot weather so the aircon and the shower room were a real plus. But overall, the attentive and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. Thank you to everyone. Truly felt like a family experience! Loved the local vibe of the front terrace - 'PDV' is well-known and appreciated locally! A treasure.
