The hotel is in a complex, and the area around it is picturesque. Our room was lovely but the heating was on, and no air conditioning provided. We found turning off the heat and leaving our door and the patio door open cooled things down. We slept well. The towels were changed daily, and the beds made up to a fashion. There were two duvets folded on both sides of a double bed, but not set out. Each evening we had to spread the duvets out before getting into bed. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains kept the light out. The first night I could hear loud music from the restaurant area, This went on until 23:30, fortunately this did not happen again for 7 days! The bathroom was modern, but the tiles on the floor in the room were potential slip hazards when wet, this was the case in the hotel as well. One evening somebody slipped over in the restaurant ,,and had to be taken to hospital. There was only one mains socket on the wall, and the fridge was plugged into another, There could be more mains sockets or USB sockets provided. Our grown up son had a single room which was much smaller than ours, but also it only had one mains socket. There is no kettle provided, so be sure to take one with you. The breakfast and the main meal in the evening were of high standard, and buffet style which we like. The cappuccino from the machines is good. It is rare nowadays to find a hotel that provides hot food, it was not Cordon Bleu, standard but well cooked and there is at variety of choices. There are vegetarian options, which our son appreciated The desserts were lovely as well!. Unusually we got our first drink of the evening in with the cost of half board, we could have wine, beer, or a soft drink, and had to present the card for our room each time. The indoor pool was OK, but had salt water in it. We tried the hotel next door, which we were told welcomed people to use their indoor pool which was chlorinated, this was lovely. The staff were lovely in the restaurant, as were the staff on reception, especially Sara was friendly and helpful. The hotel is near to the beach, and also there is a short walk along the promenade into the fishing village of Rabac which is very pretty. Overall a fantastic break, with good food, and also close to boat trips and walks. My son and I walked up the hill, through the forest up to Labin which is a medieval town on top of the hill it is a great walk if you can climb up rocks etc. I am 70 and managed it.

Would strongly recommend everyone to avoid staying at this hotel. Rooms with a musty smell, the worst / most uncomfortable pillows ever and worst of everything you are not safe leaving your personal belongings unattended. I left my phone phone charger in the room, called to kindly ask them to send it back to me (at my own cost, of course) and they absolutely ignored my request and disrespected me; I called 3 days in a row and every time they told me that would get back to me, it's been over a week and nothing. Really bad experience.

The only thing that saved our holidays during the stay in this hotel, was the location: it is situated on the Maslinica beach overlooking the beautiful bay of Rabac. The views to the bay (and from it when swimming) are just amazing. Unfortunately, everything else falls under the negative part. We’ll go point by point in a structured way to be more specific: Arrival: Parking is overcrowded - there's barely any free spot available, especially in the second half of the day. When asked for advice or help, the staff at the reception just said that we should look for parking elsewhere. Reception: Speaking of the reception and the check-in process: the staff were very unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Internet: During our stay Internet (Wi-Fi) wasn't working. We were told that they "were working on fixing it", but after 3 days it still didn't work. So we believe it's a permanent issue, and the technical issue was just an excuse. Lifts: There are only 2 small lifts for a huge facility and 7 floors (8 including ground) - it results in awfully long waiting times, even not at peak times. On most of the occasions we just had to walk down- and upstairs (with a stroller and bags!) because we’d have waited for over 10 minutes in vain. Just a chaos. Balcony: The balcony itself was nice and big, with a beautiful view to the bay. However, there's barely any separation from the other rooms' balconies - so you see all the people around, and they see you. Also from their balconies right into your room unless you curtain off the window: so you need to decide either against sunshine, or against privacy. Also, if anyone starts smoking - all the smoke goes to you as well from all directions. And as the hotel slopes down in steps as a pyramid, people from the upper balconies also see everything what you're doing on yours. Room: The room is rather big and offers enough space for a family. However, air conditioning wasn't working properly - with only barely some cooled air blowing through the vents even at maximum speed. Thus, sleeping was not comfortable, and opening door to the balcony wasn't an option on safety grounds - see the above point. Catering: That's the most disappointing part of our experience. We had a room booked with Breakfast. For some reason, people with half board can reserve tables for breakfast, while people with breakfast only - can't. So they're given tables through the sole discretion of a man who considers himself "king of the hill' in the restaurant and decides as he wishes - name's Dino. Technically, it can be considered a 'price discrimination' of the customers - we've never ever seen such a thing in other hotels that we've been to. Moreover, there’s an unwritten hospitality rule of “first come – first served”, which is obviously not followed there. To make the matters even more ridiculous, and as if in irony to the customers, there’s a sign at the entrance indicating the period between 7 and 8 in the morning as green – or the best tim

The hotel is lovely, very clean, good location and welcoming staff. I am an English woman travelling alone and although they don't get many English visitors all the staff were helpful and spoke English. I would especially like to mention Maya in the restaurant who's smiling face and personal touch each day really made my holiday, thank you Maya.....

Very large structure, it looks quite good with a good welcome, as soon as we arrived in the room however ...... bathrooms not very clean, with hair and stains in the tub. From the corner of the room I see a hole in the wall where billions of ants enter. Asked to change the room, the worst of the worst was offered to us with the smell of smoke and even less cleaning, telling us that it was the room initially assigned to us, so as to keep us calm. We chose to sleep with ants (do you get the idea?) with the promise of the staff that they would find the solution. Solution that was not found. We managed to kill them in our own way to sleep peacefully... in short... that's not good.

Actually typical building sin. Complex of 3 similar hotels. Almost a small resort with a supermarket, etc. close to the campsite. But the hotel has no style, but the rooms are new, and the bathroom is also new. Had a larger room facing the sea. balcony large. It's all ok. However, you can see the neighbor's balcony. Beach right in front also pools. Many parking spaces directly at the hotel but still full in high season. You find one, you have to walk if necessary. Not much choice of restaurants (2). Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Booked 1 night. Those who like large hotel complexes are not wrong here. The WiFi didn't work during my stay. But overall I was satisfied.
