Always cheating the customers! They gave me rooms with many problems (like no hot water, over-occupied, etc.) every time when I came there. And more seriously, they even made false reports to Google to remove the negative reviews I’ve left on them!

The best way to start or end your trip! The hotel staff is amazing (shoot out to Alba, Veronica, Kelly in particular and all other members)! The food is delicious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are plenty activities inside the property. Ideal to make new friends quickly! If you doubt what to do, definitely head to Quito Bike Tours on the property. They are a very well-organised team of professionals (located in Selinas) who are very knowledgeable and can show you all the good stuff!

The room was clean and as quiet as possible in Quito. We ordered breakfast to go (as it is offered) because we went on a tour early and it was the worst breakfast i've ever had so far (the banana was ok). The bar is nice, even though a bit expensive but the welcome drink was very good. The location or the hostel is good for city tours. Would go there again but definetly without breakfast.

TERRIBLE DO NOT STAY HERE - STAFF WILL COMMIT PETTY THEFT When you go to a hotel you trust that your items will not be stolen. They have violated that trust. We just finished a Galapagos trip organized by Intrepid and on the first day we were told that we can leave our stuff at the Selina Quito Hotel storage room while we are in the Galapagos . Some of our stuff has been stolen upon returning back to the hotel. We’ve spoken to the hotel and they have not been able to find our items. We lost about $400 of clothing (a Patagonia quarter zip sweater, fleece jacket, several t-shirts, a pair of leggings). We’re very concerned that Selina has lost our clothing in a room with monitored and restricted access. The storage room doesn’t have a ticket system so anyone can come and take bags - there is no validation. This is a big problem because either other tourists or their staff can steal items. Since notifying the staff they have made every attempt to delay refunding us and have even refused our requests to look at laundry receipts and other documentation. They asked us for exact times of when we left stuff at the desk as if we would have recall from a week ago. The manager Kelly, is inept and is trying to make sure our issue is not resolved by waiting us out until we have to leave for our flight. They are a scam and are deceptive. Their whole management needs to be replaced and they need better security practices.
