I only spent one night. Turns out there was some type of bug in the room. I sprayed repellant and thought that was the end of it. Somehow, it got into my luggage, and it came home with me. No AC control amd my room faces the street. Loud noise from the cars and had to open the window for air.

The hotel I stayed at on my first day in Quito was also the worst experience I had. I booked a double room, but because I didn’t add my wife’s name, I was charged an extra surcharge of US$32. The key point is that the double room is for two people. The price was the same when a single person booked on trip.com, so I didn't pay attention. After negotiation, I still had to add $32. The receptionist at the front desk was very tough and said that I didn't have to pay if I didn't want to stay. There was no room for discussion at all.
In addition, the location of the hotel is very bad. I heard the noise outside all night and couldn't sleep well. There were many beggars nearby. I felt very unsafe at night. Friends who want to book this hotel must think twice.
