For someone who needs a base to explore Quezon City whether alone or with a travel companion, Red Planet Hotel in Quezon Timog offers a budget-friendly and safe accomodation. While the cheapest rates do not include food services, there are a lot of diners, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. There are also a bunch of convenience stores around ready to serve you. Getting booked-in was very simple just taking a few minutes. Unfortunately, the internet signal was not good enough to conduct zoom meetings, and a maintenance of the hot water system occurred during my stay. But overall, the relaxation and comfort, combined with the security, cleanliness and general quiet provided, made the stay a top-class experience.

Pretty much brand new hotel which represents outstanding budget value in location convenient for Trinoma and SM North malls. Staff are courteous and helpful, also good security from attentive and polite guards. Rooms and showers very compact, neat and clean. Beats the competition from Red Planet and Go Hotels. Also free onsite parking and good WiFi (although went down on one night we stayed there).

Although the lace was ansolutely superb and first class we arrived at about 9 pm due the plane delayed and traffic to my surprise our room was still noisy t ready and the hotel was fairly quite and considering I have managed hotels amin Boracay Island I was surprise that this would happen!! They offered a late checkout but was not advantageous for us as we had an early pick up arranged!! Breakfast and service was absolutely fantastic and the ladies who served us was just so focused with great service. We enjoyed and appreciated this so much. Thank you ladies!!

The hotel is very well located for using public transportation, as it is very close to the “North Avenue” stop of MRT3 (which is currently the final stop on the MRT3 line, leading from there southwards along the EDSA highway). Another public transport line, LRT1, can also be reached on foot, only that the nearest station “Roosevelt” was closed in late November / early December 2021, so it will take a while to walk further to the now final stop on that line, “Balintawak”. There is currently construction ongoing for a new line close to the hotel, which I believe will be named MRT7, giving even more connections with public transport (east-wards, out of Quezon City / Metro Manila). Due to the construction, I heard sometimes noise during the night coming from the outside. In about 30 minutes walking distance is the Ninoy Aquino Park, a peaceful place with animals and places for picknick, or simply to rest from the city noise. Also, the Quezon Memorial Circle, another park, can be visited for recreational purposes and is very close to the before-mentioned Ninoy Aquino Park. Due to Covid-19 measurements, breakfast – which was included in the price – was brought to the room. Hotel staff was friendly to me, and I want to thank everyone of the hotel team as well as the security personnel. At the reception desk I was treated well by Jonna, and by the other front desk staff, for which I am thankful.

We had a pleasant 2-night stay at Novotel (room only, no breakfast). Service was excellent (they provided a cake for us to celebrate our anniversary, and we asked for late check out which they kindly accepted), The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good wifi connection if you need to work. The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The gym is open 24/7 (attended 6am-11pm) and there is a steam room but we didn’t use it. The gelato on 1F was pretty good!
Couple of areas for improvement:
- the walls were thin so we could hear people next door talking, or the shower adjacent to ours
- our rainfall shower did not work and there is no shower door so the floor got a bit wet
- there are not many amenities available - only body wash, shampoo, hand wash, body lotion, toothbrushes

Cleanliness: only provided bath towels. We had to ask for a face towel and didn't bother to ask for a hand towel since we only stayed for 2 nights. The mat towel looked dirty. If it was newly washed, they should not use that anymore for the rooms. It should be used for rags instead.
*Volt - it errored out the first time we set it up. We requested service, luckily someone came to repair it in a few minutes.
*Room Card - it requires leaving the room card inside the card reader to turn on the electric power of the room, it malfunctioned so someone had to come in to repair it.
Service: The toilet was clogged. We requested to service it. No one came while we were in the room. We had to leave to attend a party. When we came back at night, the toilet was still clogged. We called for service, but still, no one came. We had to call again the front desk. Then finally someone came. The front desk didn't voluntarily give us a map where places to eat and shop nearby the hotel. We had to ask instead.
Facilities: The lobby was very disappointing. The lounge/seating area looks like we were in the bank. No couches to relax and lounge. No Gym.
Location: Surrounding the building is clean, clean road. It's a short driving distance to the shopping malls and public markets.

Firstly, the good. Good location in colourful Poblacion (close to the heart of Makati but keep alert) and reasonably priced. Good friendly staff who go out of their way, Nino, Marlon and Leo (Nino in particular gave me great help when ING Australia had suspended use of my ATM card given its overseas use even though I advised that I would be overseas! lol). Good security (steel security door) and good value. The bad....upper floors can only be accessed by stairs which resemble the steep climb to the death face of K2 (to say it is somewhat steep is an understatement). Nimble young folks and families could do it but it was a great strain for older folks like me despite the fact that the friendly staff were happy to carry my bags upstairs. Secondly, the internet there must be run by evil spirits - you would get connected and the internet would fade and disconnect, or refuse to connect repeatedly. There are many other alternative internet options (different routers for different floors) however you would get the same bad internet experience over and over again. Whilst there is no great internet even in Manila, at the end of the day the internet here was a very frustrating experience and a great difficulty if you absolutely required it (which is most of us). The rooms were so so and came with air conditioning and were about right for a budget stay.

We booked an overnight stay because we had wedding to attend nearby. Though the drive up had some steep inclines we did not mind because when we arrived at the property, the view that greeted us more than made up for it. The lobby smelled so good and they had complimentary welcome drinks. The weather was also cooler because of the hotel’s location up in the mountain. The front desk person was friendly, helpful and accommodating. All the other staff greeted us with a welcome smile. When we got to our room it was clean, spacious and cool. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. The only things that need improvement on are:
1. The elevators were under maintainance so only PWD and seniors can use it
2. the complimentary instant coffee (funky taste)
3. Wish the buffet breakfast was available on weekdays too
Overall, my husband and i had a great stay here and highly recommend this hotel. Hope this review helps☺️

From breakfast buffet at CASA where we were being accomodated very closely by the staff and checking in on our baby from time to time to make sure he is enjoying his food to the front desk staff who did their best to provide us all our needs during our stay (especially the baby bath tub!). CcbaoI was worried where to stay for a night in Quezon City considering my unfamiliarity of the place. I hate going to Metro Manila considering safety issues and cost of overnight stay places. But, I came across a budget hotel nearest to the area where I am intended to transact. I booked to this hotel with very reasonable price and it exceeds my expectation considering the room furnishing and service of the hotel and it's breakfast food was a very good one. I got also a free Ironing service for my long sleeve polo and a pant to wear decently for business transaction that day considering that it needs pressing as it was wrinkled in my backpack. Other budget hotels usually charge P75.00 each plus the tip. But this hotel does not only gave me a comfortable sleep during that night but also like a household that has free ironing service.. It is also very near and just a walking distance to restaurants and fast food chains.

GGuest UserYou get what you pay for. This is what I expected a budget hotel to be. The bed was really nice and comfy. Room was clean and tidy. I'm glad there was a table good enough to put a laptop. It also very close to SM North and terminal/MRT station. Very nice and professional staff. What I don't like the most is the noise/sounds of the adjacent room can be heard because of the thin walls and doors. We have to lower our voice and was not really comfortable hearing someone else within an earshot.

Also, hotel has pool and a restaurant. Room are clean but unfortunately when we left for few hours and got back, there are tiny cockroaches. Aside from that, its all worth it with.

IIsfp-Solo TravelerBooked the room for my family, wasn’t able to take picture of the room as I leave immediately after they’re settled,.. Trinoma/Landmark is just walking distance, but as per google maps, it will take 12 minutes (if I remember it correctly), but because it’s really hot nowadays, you can take grabcar (around 140??),.. The room is quite big, have windows where you can see the street,.. Maybe the downside is there’s no mini-fridge (better if have as it was a family room so can put some food/drinks), no extra hanger, no slipper, have only 1 table and 2 chairs (I haven’t tried to ask, but maybe you can request as the room is for 4 people when booked); have complimentary water, shampoo and toothbrushes; You can also check-in early, just pay 500php (not sure if this is the reason why hangers were no available as they are still preparing the room when we checked-in) — check in time is 2pm, but we arrived around 12noon; They will also ask for 1K deposit where you can claim back once you check out,.. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Harts Hotel for a week, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The hotel's location was excellent, situated in a bustling area with easy access to nearby attractions. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating, always ensuring I felt welcome during my stay.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. However, there were a few issues that somewhat impacted my experience. Firstly, for the last two days of my stay, there was an issue with the bathroom flush, which caused inconvenience. It was a minor inconvenience that affected the overall comfort of my stay.
In addition to the flush issue, there were a couple of other drawbacks. The hotel did not provide tissues in the room, which was unexpected. It would have been convenient to have them readily available. Furthermore, I encountered a persistent smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway, which was a disappointment as a non-smoker. While it didn't directly affect the room itself, it detracted from the overall experience and the hotel's otherwise pleasant ambiance.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Harts Hotel still has its merits. The housekeeping and cleanliness of the room were commendable, and the hotel staff remained attentive and helpful throughout my stay.
In conclusion, my one-week stay at Harts Hotel had its ups and downs. While the location, friendly staff, and overall cleanliness were highlights, the issues with the bathroom flush, lack of tissue provision, and odor of cigarette smoke in the hallway were disappointments. I would recommend Harts Hotel with the caveat that guests may encounter these inconveniences during their stay.

HHoly_InnocentI like this simple hotel with super friendly staff and good breakfast, but there are some serious issues that need fixing. First and foremost, there is a terrible sewer like smell in some parts of the building, originally just at the bottom of the stairs (a contained area) which days later crept into my room, especially in the bathroom but also noticeable as soon as you walk in the room. It is for this serious issues (stink!!!) that I will not book here again. It seems that the foul aroma is either from a gross stream behind the property AND/OR sewer smells from coming out of floor drains. Other issues included a telephone that could bot be used to make calls because of bad static, 30 php charge PER HOUR to use hotel's hair dryer, no shampoo or conditioner supplied, no or ugly views from most rooms, non stop noise outside the windows, small TV, had to change rooms once because Tube TV remote would not work, sink stand was wobbly and couldn't lean on it at all. This property is OK for a night or two but would not recommend for longer stays. The staff here are great and try hard. The restaurant for breakfast and other meals is excellent with great value. There is evening live music in the restaurant from Wed to Sat. Parking is weird with a single lane driveway under the hotel with hard working valets making sense of the jigsaw puzzle. So for a quick last minute shopping before your trip try Astrotel in Anonas for as low as 400.00 (-$10.00) 12 hours accommodation, have a good sleep and fresh linen.

GGuest UserI hope they check and maintain the room event if we got it at an affordable price. The floor was extremely dirty and sticky. We have to call the front desk to really have it moped and swipe. The bathroom was also not pleasant to use as it has an awful smell coming from the drainage. The chair that was there was even in a very and condition. The only nice about this place is the staff and the doorman who always smiles, location as it's near the mall. This will be the first and last stay with this hotel.
