My wife and I spent 2 nights at Hotel 71 in the lower district of Old Quebec City. It was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had. The hotel is in a 19th Century bank building, yet it had fully modern amenities. The king bed was extremely comfortable as was the rain shower. The views from our room were as of the old city walls. The location is only a block or two from many restaurants and shops. Most of the old city is less than a 30 min walk away. We were able to come back to our hotel and relax off and on throughout the day. The staff was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. My wife loved the soaps and asked about where she could buy some more. Instead the lady at the front desk gave her a bunch of additional soaps for free! We drove a car here. While cheaper self parking is available in public garages nearby, for $40 CAD per night you can upgrade to valet parking. Do it! We didn’t even use our car in our two days in Quebec City. It took only a few minutes for valet to bring the car around. It was so convenient compared to self parking. Hotel 71 is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this top-notch establishment.

**Location and Accessibility:** The Hilton Quebec boasts a prime location just outside Old Town and near Place D'Youville, where many buses stop. However, the hotel is situated on a hill, so if you're not taking a bus or Uber, be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk to reach the entrance. **Room and View:** We paid extra for a room with an Old Quebec River view, and it was worth every penny. The window was clear, allowing us to take stunning photos of Old Town Quebec with Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac in the background. **WiFi:** The WiFi connection at Hilton Quebec was excellent—smooth and fast, perfect for staying connected or getting work done. **Amenities:** While the rooms do not come with bottled water, during the summer, the hotel provides water dispensers with ice water near the reception, which was convenient for filling our water bottles. Overall, Hilton Quebec offers a comfortable stay with fantastic views and excellent connectivity, though the uphill walk may be a consideration for some guests.

The hotel is quite close to the attractions. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Did not go to breakfast, the Queen bed is very comfortable and the space is very large. The environment and layout are very comfortable, the staff understand English and French and are very welcoming. And the hotel rooms are relatively quiet.

Facilities: Before going there, I heard that the facilities might be old, but in fact they are fine and worth experiencing. Environment: The location is excellent and the hotel atmosphere is very suitable for travel check-in Service: Very considerate, there will be staff who will give business cards when checking in to contact you for help and service needs.

The room is a little small, but the view is good. It is a bit inconvenient to change two elevators to go up and down the stairs. The front desk service is very thoughtful and polite, and there is a special car at the door. The location of the hotel is very convenient and quiet at night.
