Quebec City Hotels with Airport pickup service

The hotel has to check in at 4 o'clock, and the parking fee is 25 dollars, and you have to cross the street under an office building, which is very inconvenient. It says valet parking, so you have to park yourself. Downstairs of the hotel is a famous restaurant that serves brunch, but the food is actually just average. The room is quite big and has a good view. The location is not far from the ancient city. There are several nearby restaurants with good food, but they are expensive.

The arrival at the hotel started badly with a young receptionist full of germs she kept spreading in her tissue and around (as if we did not just get out of a pandemic that showed us how far any virus can travel) and she started laughing at me in French (assuming that I do not speak over 10 languages including French) saying that I want a room taken by another customer: how rude of her to assume that. The older manager thankfully intervened and the room we checked in via the app was given to us, explaining to the manager, however sick from the road I was, that we did not want something extraordinary: - the room had the lines of the newly built hotels we stayed in the USA and just like in the USA, this room proved to have poor insulation between rooms, slamming doors and the trepidation noises on the hallways to make stuff vibrate in the room. Thankfully everything stopped soon after 10pm and we had a good night sleep only disturbed by the construction next door the following morning, however quiet those people were trying to operate their machinery - parking at the back of the hotel is safe and thankfully Google satellite helped us immensely with travelling to and from Quebec City trying to avoid the major road works happening just about everywhere - the hotel is located near a major shopping area and a Walmart great with icecreams and drinks we always like having - breakfast at the hotel included warm items and it was varied although people kept taking multiple tables to sit and talk: I guess the lower floors were rather busy since we hardly heard any talk up our floor - the manager was kind in thinking of sending a warm up gift, although I wish the young female receptionist would receive further training and stopped assuming things she wanted to assume about customers who effectively pay her salary

The hotel is not in Quebec, but it is very close by car, about 8 or 9 minutes, it is still very convenient, there is almost no walk around, because I arrive at the hotel in the evening and check out the next morning, so it doesn’t matter, the room is quite big and the accommodation conditions Not bad!

Hotel Manoir Ste Genevieve I’ll try to give an honest review of our four night stay in September 2022. What we liked: 1. it’s in a great location close to everything you want to see old Quebec. 2. It’s very cute. 3. Our room was clean. 4. The price was reasonable compared to other properties in the same area. What could have been better: 1. Once we arrived and checked in there was very little contact with staff. Our room was not serviced and we were responsible for getting towels, coffee and room essentials and emptying trash. However, that really wasn’t a big deal and we understand that staffing shortages are huge problem. We also noticed that the hotel manager would leave early and leave an envelope with keys for guests who had not yet arrived. 2. The outside upper deck is in real need of attention. There is old furniture, dead plants and broken pieces scattered around. The owner needs to clean this up to make it attractive to guests again. If you are looking for luxury and service, this is not your hotel. The stairs are steep and our room was small. That said, it was a good stay considering the location, quaintness and value.

We've stayed at Quality Inns many times over the years and have always been happy with our stay. That's why we were a bit disappointed with this location. We were given a 3rd floor room that the end of the hall which meant that we could take our bags up the elevator. However our room was one of about 10 rooms that were down 6-7 steps so we had to lug our bags down those stairs to our room and then back up again when we left. We also weren't happy with the air conditioning as it would cool for about an hour and then cut out. We had to shut if off and then after several minutes, turn it on again so that it would cool for another hour. As a result, our room got warm and stuffy through the night. The breakfast was advertised as a hot buffet but really was nothing special although they did serve egg patties, sausage patties and you could make your own waffle. This stay was average at best - certainly not the quality stay we've come to know from Quality Inns.

Given the room price, I would definitely recommend this hotel to those planning go stay in Quebec City. Just a few minutes walk to the old city, in a close proximity to the Congress, surrounded by different bus routes, it’s a breeze to commute to many tourist spots to/from the hotel. Besides the view overlooking from the room is stunning. It far exceeded my expectation! I would certainly come back next time.

Derick was so quick to check-us in. He answered all our questions and concerns with patience and professionalism. The rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was delicious, even my toddler loved it. The lady in charge of the buffet was so kind to offer us a booster seat as well. Check-out was smooth, Lola was super kid-friendly! Highly recommended.

You can park on the roadside. The train station is about 10 minutes walk past the ancient city, but not too far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes away from the supermarket. They are all flat roads and do not need to climb mountain roads.

Several of our friends have traveled from the United States to the United States. First of all, the location of this hotel is not bad. Then it is convenient to stop at the hotel. The location is good. We found it very quickly. Thanks to Ctrip for assistance.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location, near the walls of Old Quebec City, the reason why we chose it. We arrived on a Tuesday, late afternoon and were VERY frustrated that we waited in line for ONE HOUR to check in to the hotel. There were only five groups checking in, before us. There was one employee and a manager, the manager was training the employee. The manager refused to check people in herself, was curt, and kept telling clients not to approach the reception desk until called forward. The wait was unacceptable, made worse by the impolite manager. The room was clean but cold and sterile. The linoleum wood-look floors made sound echo and were not warm. The room had no couch, only 2 plastic-covered rocking chairs that would have been better placed in a retirement home. Meals and parking are not included in the standard rate, making it more expensive for a basic room, than what it seems. Booking online, the quote for 2 adults for 3 nights in a basic suite, was $711. With parking and a room hold, the charge was over $930 CAD for 3 nights.
