Les Lofts de la Fabrique by les Lofts Vieux-Québec

My dad booked a girls trip for my mom, daughter and me. Les Lofts St. Jo’s was a nice place to stay, but there were a number of things that other potential guests should be aware of. First, when we arrived, we were surprised to find two long, narrow flights of stairs to manoeuvre with all our luggage. There was nothing to indicate this on the website, and would certainly be an issue for those with mobility issues. The main bedroom is up yet another flight of stairs. This staircase does not have handrails on both sides, with the one side being completely open and if a person were to stumble they could fall off the side. Once you get to the upper floor, the main bedroom is down two steps. The bathroom is open to the bedroom (you can see the toilet from the bed) is up another step. There are also a number of floor level changes on the main floor. These issues may result in tripping and fall hazards, especially for anyone with mobility or balance issues. Other, minor, issues include: poor internet in the main bedroom; no knives (for prepping meals with); no corkscrew; washer & dryer doors didn’t close properly; wobbly toilet in main bedroom. Also, on the dangerous side, the futon bed had a row of exposed nails on one side. Thankfully my daughter noticed before going to bed the first night, otherwise she may have been seriously injured. All in all, although the place was relatively nice, and a good size, I wouldn’t return and would probably avoid other Les Loft sites as a result, especially if travelling with my elderly parents or anyone else with mobility issues .

Great location! Convenient parking, theres is a supermarket within 4 mins walking. Many restaurants and coffee shops close near. 20 mins walk to Le Chateau Frontenac and Le Quartier Petit Champlain. Spacious rooms to stay with children and spotless clean. I would definitely stay here again!

I am trying to get back the amount paid for a stay to which I was denied access. On the day of my stay, the reservation was confirmed by email but I did not receive the access codes. When I arrived at the establishment, I contacted them and was informed that there was no reservation in my name. I am resending the receipts and waiting for a solution to this problem that has been going on for 3 months.

Unit 106 - We felt unsafe, deadbolt lock required. We had unit 106 one of the two ground floor units at the bottom of the Les Loft Dorchester building. Entrance of Les Loft Dorchester is at the main street however, Les Lofts Fribrique is at the back street of the same building facing over 10 garbage bins with pedestrains and homeless people walking by the big window and main door which open right to the street. Night time is dark, pretty scary. The entrance door needs a deadbolt lock. We had to close the curtain night and day as the big window is just at the street. The inside of the unit is well furnished & modem. BUT no hangers, no shelves, no wardrobe, basically just nothing and nowhere to place your clothes. Lots of restaurant choices nearby. We walked to old town, train station, bus stops, parliament from there. We would recommend friends and family staying at the Les Loft Dorchester of the same building but NOT Les Loft de Fabrique
