The beach of Mao Ball really doesn't want to hold too high expectations. This is the third home in Mao Ball. The service and the first two are really incomparable, because the former one lived in a bubble and served too much. The beach is very clean with breathtaking views of the clear blue, turquoise water, sunny days and beautiful sunrises/sunsets! The spa, Salt Equilibrium, is very nice! Anju has a fun, carefree personality, and very professional and knowledgeable in regards to massage therapy! The food was good, but my friend and I agreed it is a bit overpriced! Breakfast is made to order! The chocolate praline croissants were my favorite…oh! And chai lattes! Cocktails weren’t our favorite as I believe the bartenders were probably beginners. However, they do have nice wine selections! Overall, our experience was excellent and we would most definitely rebook this hotel again! One recommendation would be to have transportation (motor bike or car) so you’re able to venture off to see other areas of the island! However, the hotel reception would be more than willing to book transportation for you!

Free parking and gate security are in place like all hotels in Maodao. We were just in time for the hurricane. We couldn't go to sea in rainy days. The hotel also had a lot of entertainment facilities. Table tennis, football, sand, volleyball, and pool. The WIFI signal in the room is very weak, only the balcony signal is very strong. I wonder if the facility was affected by the hurricane. The beach is downstairs, but the WIFI signal is very strong. There are many schools of fish not far from snorkeling, and basic water sports facilities are free of charge. The staff is very friendly, the environment in the yard is beautiful and quiet, it is much better than the salt selection we stayed behind, it is worth recommending ~

The hotel location, environment, and service are very good, especially the service is much better than expected, very welcoming, it is recommended to have a Chinese waiter in the Chinese restaurant, otherwise ordering is a problem for people who do not know the language, and the room is only equipped every day 1 bottle of water seemed a bit stingy. Later, there was no limit on the water and bath towels at the Shangri-La Hotel, and it felt very good.
