Eden Villa

Unfortunately we trusted the very positive reviews of 2019 but upon our arrival we collided with the harsh reality! No welcome cocktail (even a glass of water) after more than 16 hours of travel but…. They invited us to have breakfast. The dining room, if I can say so, is very sad, as is the buffet with fruit juice (good) not always present, biscuits, fruit not always present, omelettes on request, slices of bread loaf not always present, milk, coffee and tea, 2 jams and a chocolate cream. According to the owner we had to ask what should be present in a "buffet" for breakfast. The rooms you see in the photos are not all like this! Ours was approximately 2.40x3.40 without counting the extra half meter where the wardrobe was located. Very minimal cleaning! Sheets never changed. The only gem is the new air conditioning. Bathroom to be redone. Dinner topic... we "deceived ourselves" on the first day but then we collided with the beloved truth! Every evening it was less and less, even if we were invited to choose other dishes the only two times we did so they weren't there. Very sad New Year! Even there there are "deluded" with an aperitif based on sea urchins and oysters but then... fish carpaccio which for me was swordfish then spaghetti with tomato with empty lobster shell, grilled cold fish inedible sweet from the bottom.... Two scoops of ice cream all this for 40 euros! Typical local dances and a DJ who turned everything off at 00.15. Swimming pool approximately 8 x 3 meters very dirty with a waterfall that has never been put into operation. During the week, a self-managed stand-up barbecue dinner because the owners had much else to do (a locals birthday). I still have a lot to write but I think I've given you the idea!

Certainly cheap but certainly the standards of cleanliness and comfort are insufficient to the minimum required for a tourist facility (cockroaches, no change of sheets, disconnected handles and taps etc...). Furthermore, a place isolated from services of all kinds (restaurants, buses etc.. ) so you are bound exclusively to the structure (except for taxis which fortunately circulate frequently during the day with honest prices, but are difficult to find in the evening). With a few euros more per room you can certainly enjoy structures more suited to the standards of European tourists so as not to ruin your holiday in the name of minimal savings (which Eden Villa recovers on the application of expensive internal dinner prices, taking advantage of this exclusivity in the area). Furthermore, it does not have a sea view, which is instead accessed from a public and dark external road, and the small internal swimming pool is unacceptable as it is dirty and not maintained.

Eden Villa si trova a due passi dalla bellissima spiaggia di Belle Mar. I proprietari Eliana e Vishal, che gestiscono anche l'omonima agenzia turistica, si fanno in quattro per organizzare in ogni dettaglio la permanenza a Mauritius. Spaziose e pulite le camere. Ottimo il ristorante (consiglio assolutamente la formula mezza pensione).

Très bon accueil, le personnel est au petit soin avec nous, les chambres sont très spacieuses et propres, merci aux cuisiniers, repas très copieux et très bon et les desserts très bon, la terrasse est très grande et très agréable, merci à toutes l'équipe pour cette agréable séjour
