I checked in with my daughter and sister from the 20th to the 24th December 2024 and we had a wonderful experience! The hotel is very new, and the 2 rooms are impressively spacious, providing great comfort throughout our stay. The location, though not accessible by large vehicles, is well-served by convenient smaller vehicles called ”xiao bai,” which made getting around a breeze. This thoughtful arrangement added to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. As someone from Singapore, I was thrilled to find my hometown breakfast featured alongside Quanzhou cuisine. The fusion of flavors was delightful, and we looked forward to it every morning. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Zhuang Zhuang for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The location of the inn is excellent, in the center of the ancient city, and we stayed there for 3 days! The owner contacted us in advance to get off at the bell tower. Although it was very close and only a few steps away, the owner also arranged a tricycle to help us carry our luggage. The room was clean and simple, and the wooden structure was very much liked. Although it was an old house, the room had a smart toilet and voice-controlled smart home, which the children liked very much. I like this kind of small courtyard so much, it is down-to-earth, and there is a courtyard when you go out. A few friends drank tea in the courtyard together, which was very comfortable. The photos were also very good! A few steps out of the door is West Street, and there are many hairpin flower shops at the door. We drank tea in the courtyard, and they went to the hairpin flower to take pictures. Come back and take a group photo in the courtyard. Travel without burden The breakfast is very suitable for our taste, all home-cooked dishes. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is not good, but the owner provides earplugs. It was a very happy trip and I would recommend friends to come here!

This is a new hotel located in the Fengze area. You can take the bus to the main attractions if you are not keen to walk, the bus station is just less than 100m away from the hotel. There are a lot of food options nearby. The room is small but fine for solo traveller, in-room amenities are sufficient. The staff are very friendly and courteous, they provided excellent service. The WiFi connection was not good, but the staff solved the problem as soon as possible and offered a room upgrade for compensation. I would greatly recommend this hotel!

My friend and I shared a twin room at Citywell hotel for 3 nights and it was really comfortable! We stayed on the fifth floor in a quieter room where there wasn’t a window facing the street. Fortunately the fifth floor has an artificial garden with a skylight in the center that allows inner rooms to also receive natural lighting through a large glass window. Other things we appreciated: - free use of the laundry - the corridors having a fragrant tea scent - convenient location

First of all, when you step into the room, you can see the small terrace where you can see the fireworks of the ancient city. The scene of the sun shining on the bed is super healing. It must be said that the location of the homestay is really very good. It is just opposite the Kaiyuan Temple. You can get up and go sightseeing to avoid the peak of the crowd. There are also many choices of restaurants and snacks nearby. You can check in according to the hand-drawn map provided by the homestay. I have tested it myself and it is not a thunder. The most important thing is that this rooftop is really beyond the film. In the evening, you can drink and chat with the homestay brother and other guests. The atmosphere is also very good. The brother is super nice and really recommends it. Living here adds a lot of points to the trip to Quanzhou!

Xiamenair is near a food street which opens late into the night. It takes about 20-30 minutes walk to the Old Town attractions. Better to get a taxi or didi e-hailing. The staff was very helpful. Fruits and light snacks are provided in the evening/night at the lift lobby on every floor. The sleep was excellent. It wasn’t noisy at all in my room facing the street. Hot water shower and the air conditioning work very well. I used CNY500 as cash deposit. But the service staff was kind to return me the deposit without having to wait too long.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is very convenient to go to nearby tourist attractions and travel. The front desk Xiao Li is enthusiastic and professional, and the check-in is quick. He also introduced the hotel's facilities and gave us small refreshments and gifts. This stay experience is quite good. The room is clean and tidy, and the bathroom is spacious. I like the big balcony outside the hotel the most. There are also small bars around the hotel. The only downside is that the room is not very soundproof. People who sleep light can bring their own earplugs. There are also many check-in spots near the hotel. If you like taking pictures, I recommend staying in this hotel.

I love Atour hotels. This hotel is older than others I’ve stayed at. The room didn’t smell nice and there were some hairs on the floor, which I hate. Plus some parts if the sink looked like they’re rusty and not clean. The other things are fine. The bed is comfortable, it was quite at night and the check in was smooth.

Great hotel—anticipated need, provide exceptional service When checking in, front desk 西袖provided necessary information like aircon tuning tips that makes our stay more comfortable. She also recommended a lunch place nearby that turned out to be a highly recommended eatery. The hotel provided, besides welcome drinks and snacks, little things like dry shampoo, dental floss sticks etc in a ‘treasure chest’ very thoughtful. Most impressive is the laundry room. It is so well equipped that many hotels pale in comparison. Besides washer, dryer that a provided free for use, they even provide free detergents, not just for machines but also hand wash. The room comes with a basin for hand washing and steamer and normal iron. It also install sofa for guest to wait comfortably. Only suggestion is to brighten the room more. The hotel is well situated. With 5 minutes walk to Wanda. The room cost includes the breakfast and supper, thus it is not more expensive and definitely value for money. The breakfast spread is enough to cater to international palate. I also like that all the quanzhou snacks that everyone raved about is served here and quite well done. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting quanzhou. In fact, I myself is actively seeking out hotels of the same brand when moving to next destination
