My Feedback for This Beautiful Hotel
Pros:
The hotel is beautifully designed, with a lovely tea scent everywhere—very inviting.
During check-in, the staff upgraded our room to a larger one on a higher floor (Room 1913), which we absolutely loved!
The room is spacious and has everything you need.
One of the cleaners, an elderly lady, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Despite the language barrier, we communicated using hand gestures and Google Translate.
On our first night, we were looking for a place to have dinner, and the lady at the lobby counter was very helpful—she even assisted us in booking a Didi.
A convenience store is located just across the building.
The laundry room is well-equipped and very convenient.
The hotel also gave us complimentary gifts and fruits after check-in, along with two bottles of mineral water. Upon check-out, we received more free gifts—such a generous gesture!
Cons:
Since the hotel is next to a busy road, you can hear car honking quite often.
Unfortunately, none of the staff can communicate in English. If they could, our conversations would have been much smoother.
Overall:
I had an amazing stay in Quanzhou, and I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to this province!

Overall: Excellent, highly recommended!
1. **Convenient Location & Transport:** The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from Quanzhou Station and a 20-minute walk to the Bell Tower. Several bus routes right outside the hotel offer a quick two-stop ride to West Street (where the Bell Tower is located).
2. **Exceptional Front Desk Service:** The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and meticulous. They provided excellent local travel tips and even offered a generous selection of complimentary snacks, tea, coffee, and useful little tools. Their service was truly commendable.
3. **Room & Bathroom:** The room itself was standard, but the bathroom was impeccably clean – a definite plus! (On a side note: I wouldn't recommend staying in a guesthouse on West Street. It's incredibly crowded, a pedestrian-only area, making taxis very inconvenient due to narrow streets, and the accommodations there tend to be older/dated.)
4. **Delicious Breakfast:** The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and tasting absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
5. **Special Shout-out to a Front Desk Staff:** The gentleman at the front desk (whose name I regrettably didn't catch) provided exceptional service. A big thumbs up to him!

1️⃣The hotel's location is really invincible. It is located at the important landmark bell tower. It is very convenient to go to the attractions in the old city. You can go back to rest at any time when you are tired of shopping at noon.
2️⃣The upgraded one-bedroom room on the east side is much larger. It is quite comfortable to live in. The only drawback is that there is a certain amount of street noise, but the hotel is equipped with earplugs. Andy, a follow-up colleague, also helped to reduce the afternoon tea in the hotel because of this noise problem.
3️⃣The breakfast is quite comfortable, mainly in terms of environment, landscape, and layout. However, there are a few cold dishes, which can be improved.
4️⃣The streets here are really beautiful, and there are terraces and rooftops.
5️⃣Finally, I want to say that the service is really good. Andy asked us about our needs in the morning, noon and evening. When I left, he gave me toiletries. He also gave me a box of Minnan rice cakes, which is very considerate. ❤️

I checked in with my daughter and sister from the 20th to the 24th December 2024 and we had a wonderful experience! The hotel is very new, and the 2 rooms are impressively spacious, providing great comfort throughout our stay.
The location, though not accessible by large vehicles, is well-served by convenient smaller vehicles called ”xiao bai,” which made getting around a breeze. This thoughtful arrangement added to the charm of the place.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. As someone from Singapore, I was thrilled to find my hometown breakfast featured alongside Quanzhou cuisine. The fusion of flavors was delightful, and we looked forward to it every morning.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Zhuang Zhuang for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home.
We spent four nights here and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend QUANZHOU WEST ST. GUCHENG ALLEY YU Hotel to anyone visiting Quanzhou. Thank you for a memorable stay!

A surprising place, because I needed to check in early but the hotel arranged a duplex room for me when it was fully booked the night before. The area is large, the decoration and hardware are very online, the location is quite good, all kinds of food come out the door, and the west gate of Kaiyuan Temple is a few steps away. On the left is the Kaiyuan Shengshi complex, which is accessible by Xiaobai at the door. The hotel also has a high-quality bakery and a very large bookstore suitable for children aged from a few years to teenagers. The public area in the store is also very good, but there are a few mosquitoes. The service awareness needs to be improved. In terms of service, I think the overall training is not yet perfect, because I encountered two classes, maybe three classes of front desk staff, but the service awareness was a bit different. I praise the front desk staff at the time of check-out for solving the problem very sincerely. Overall, it is very good and worth recommending. It will definitely be the first choice when I visit this hotel next time!

The hotel is luxuriously decorated and the environment is hygienic. The temperature difference in Quanzhou in the past few days (spring) is large, the highest temperature at noon is 20 degrees, and the night is about 10 °C, but the central air conditioner of this hotel does not provide heating, and it can be cooled! so strange! ! Such a cold night, such a high-end hotel can not turn on the heating! Even the air conditioner of the mid- and low-end small hotel can heat it. The air conditioner of this hotel can be cooled!
I gave feedback, the hotel's answer is that the central air conditioner is controlled by the engineering department, and whether to turn on the heating can be determined by the engineering department. If I feel cold, they can provide me with a heating tablet. It is a white oil stat, similar to the last picture. Anyway, I am not used to it. Can not control the temperature, there are three grades of small, medium and large to adjust the heating. Turn on the heating tablet to wake up, do not turn on the heating tablet to wake up. Every night, you have to get up, turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off, turn off, repeatedly adjust the heating tablet... Living in such a luxurious hotel, you can't control the room temperature. I lived for a few days, lived to doubt myself...

The location is absolutely superb. Its proximity to local culinary hotspots is a major plus; Dongxing Beef Noodle Shop, famous for its incredible mixed noodles, is just diagonally left from the Donghui Building parking exit. A little further left, you'll find the internet-famous Shuimen Guozai Noodle and Vermicelli Paste. Most popular eateries are within a 1km radius. There are also plenty of small white local rideshares right outside, making it incredibly convenient to reach various attractions. The complimentary map from the hotel was also very handy.
While the rooms are definitely on the older side – quite small with a compact layout, and I wasn't keen on having to shower in the bathtub – the overall facilities are well-maintained. However, the single biggest drawback was the severe lack of power outlets; only one side of the bed has a socket, which is a nightmare for anyone who likes to charge their phone by the bedside!
On the plus side, they offer a complimentary souvenir daily, and milk grass jelly in the evenings. A late checkout until 1 PM is also a thoughtful perk. My child thoroughly enjoyed swimming every day, and the pool was immaculately clean! Despite some minor issues, I would still highly recommend this hotel to friends, primarily because of its unbeatable location!

An absolutely delightful hotel that truly made our Quanzhou trip even better. From the moment we stepped in, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. As first-time visitors to Quanzhou, they thoughtfully provided us with excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. The room was very comfortable, with a soft bed and comprehensive amenities. Breakfast was delicious and varied, even including local specialties like Mianxian paste (vermicelli paste). If 5 stars is the highest rating, I'd honestly give it 10,000! Highly, highly recommend! The staff were so warm and friendly – truly embodying the wonderful hospitality of Fujian!

XXiaocaizi89My overall experience at the Quanzhou Xinmen Hanting Hotel exceeded my expectations. Cleanliness was reassuring, with the room clean and fresh, and the bedding spotless. Service was warm and attentive, with the front desk lady responsive and readily available to assist with any requests. While not lavish, the breakfast buffet offered a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine, was clean and delicious, and the freshly prepared noodles were especially heartwarming and a perfect start to the day. The location was a key attraction, conveniently located near the bustling city center and key attractions. With excellent transportation links, it's easy to explore on foot, by public transportation, or by shared bike. Stepping outside the hotel, you're greeted by Quanzhou's captivating scenery: ancient houses with red walls and numerous temples, blending historical charm with modern vitality, creating a truly surprising experience. The hotel offers excellent value for money, making it a convenient and comfortable choice for both business and leisure travelers. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next business trip.

Ddi na 66The hotel is near Kaiyuan Temple, West Street of Quanzhou Ancient City. You can also see the ancient tower of Kaiyuan Temple on the roof of the hotel. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the central block. There is a parking lot 500 meters away, but parking may be a bit tight during peak season. The hotel room is small but clean and tidy, the front desk of the hotel is also warm and friendly, introducing eating, drinking and playing will help pick up and drop off luggage, very satisfied

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on Zhongshan Street, which is convenient for travel. Mili is right at the door, and the Bell Tower is 100 meters away, and Kaiyuan Temple is 700 meters away. Although it is on Zhongshan Road, it is not noisy, and it is quiet in the bustle. Clean and sanitary, bath towels and towels are all disposable. You can walk out of the Bell Tower to Zhongshan Road for food, and it is also convenient to buy clothes, shoes and other shopping.

I came to Quanzhou with my friends for 5 days and must praise the ”gold coordinates” of the hotel and the warm service of the boss!
📍 The location is absolutely perfect: you can walk 500 meters into the ancient city area. Kaiyuan Temple, West Street and Guanyue Temple are all in the ”Citywalk Comfort Circle”. The leg lazy party directly starts at the starting price (Qingyuan Mountain to the top of the mountain about 10 kilometers, listen to the advice and take a taxi directly to the top!), The money-saving party takes a few minutes to West Street and takes 2 yuan ”small white car”, the price is full ~
🚗 Relatively remote sea view route recommendation: take a day to take a taxi [Yulin original village] → [Gold Coast + Lujia Temple] → [Xiangzhi Lighthouse + Xiangzhi Wharf], the round-trip fare is only 200 yuan, which is more worry-free than self-driving or car rental!
🏠 Three bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms, suitable for teaming: one room per person is not crowded, the living room can also cover the beautiful photos taken on the day at night, the kitchen balcony is fully equipped, if there is no cleanliness, there is a washing machine and drying clothes is convenient, like there is a ”temporary home” in Quanzhou ~
💁♀️ The boss service is super powerful: because the flight arrives early, let us check in early to put our luggage; before leaving the flight late, let the late check-out haha, warm heart and do not disturb ~

GGuest UserThe environment of the homestay is very quiet. In the alley, there is no noise from vehicles. When you wake up, you can hear the birds singing in the courtyard, which is very comfortable. It is very convenient to go anywhere, and the surrounding area is also very lively at night. Quanzhou Ancient City is really a city that never sleeps. There are places to eat supper at one or two o'clock in the middle of the night. The B&B is very clean and the rooms are warmly decorated. The lady at the B&B recommended local fun and delicious food to us, and the auntie at the B&B helped us clean every day. Made us feel at home, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis place is extremely close to West Street and also very near Jianfa Restaurant (I *think* that was the name – apologies, it was so good I forgot the exact details!). That restaurant was absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. The accommodation itself was super comfortable and clean. The staff, especially the lady I interacted with, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I had originally booked for two nights, but due to a family issue, I only ended up staying one. They promptly helped me process the refund for the unused night and were very understanding and caring.

WWangdoudouHThe location of the homestay is excellent, you can dry clothes on the fourth floor, and the rooftop on the top floor is the best seat for the twin towers of Kaiyuan Temple. It is located next to the bustling West Street. Snacks, restaurants, shavings, and cultural and creative shops are all available.

ZZoouswThis stay experience really exceeded expectations! It was very comfortable from the beginning of stepping into the hotel lobby. The front desk lady checked in quickly and enthusiastically. The room was very clean. The window was super good and not noisy. The bedding was soft. The old fragrance of sleeping at night.
The breakfast is also quite rich, and the hot porridge and side dishes are fresh and delicious. It is convenient to go to Quanzhou's attractions and business districts. I will definitely choose this one next time I come here. ~
