Quanzhou Licheng District Hotels

Location is unbeatable. Right in the middle of where all the old city tourist action is. Very convenient to flag down one of those RMB2 per trip electric buggies which will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within the old city tourist area. Loads of food choices within walking distance. Room is decent size and I like the hotel carpets with the famous citong flowers. Hotel was probably a 5 star hotel in its hey days. Decor is jaded but well maintained. Counter staff is hit and miss. Some are pleasant and courteous while some are like army captains frowning on stupid English speaking guests!! Housekeeping staff tend to pay very close attention to guests' coming and leaving. It seems that they would like you out of your room by 8am for housekeeping services. Do not disturb signs are ignored. Did not try the hotel food as outside food choices seem more appealing.

My friend and I shared a twin room at Citywell hotel for 3 nights and it was really comfortable! We stayed on the fifth floor in a quieter room where there wasn’t a window facing the street. Fortunately the fifth floor has an artificial garden with a skylight in the center that allows inner rooms to also receive natural lighting through a large glass window. Other things we appreciated: - free use of the laundry - the corridors having a fragrant tea scent - convenient location

The hotel is majestic with friendly staffs and warm atmosphere. Our complement especially to front desk staff 小刘 who attended to our needs and more. He is most helpful and informative. We had seafood buffet dinner on our first night and Japanese food on our second last night. Foods are great and staffs again are friendly and warm. We enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back.

This was a bit of a surprise, so I decided to give it a try. The new hotel doesn't have much of a decoration feel, but a European style. The lamps are nice, the mattress is great, I slept very well, the air conditioning is top-notch 👍, the breakfast is ok, there is also freshly cooked noodles, the overall service is good, and the hygiene is also good.

The hotel service is warm and fast. The location is very good. It is right in the ancient city, very close to the Bell Tower. You can see the scenery of the ancient city. It is clean and tidy. The room is warm and spacious. The price is also very affordable and cost-effective! Get a comfortable and pleasant stay experience!

The newly opened hotel, the room was very comfortable, and I was worried about the smell at first, but after I arrived at the scene, I found that I was worried. The staff at the front desk was very enthusiastic, always smiling and welcoming and actively caring about whether they needed help. The room had fruit and was intimate. There was free ice cream in the lobby. Next time I come to Quanzhou, I still prefer this hotel 👍.

The front desk helped me order dinner online as my mobile is overseas number and cannot be used. I could not pay online. The hotel staff had to change cny 100 bill into small notes to facilitate payment. Such service impressed me Room is buf. Shower is awesome with strong water pressure. I will stay again in my next visit.

I stayed in two hotels in Quanzhou for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was very clean and well-equipped, including disposable face towels and bath towels. The check-in guide was very complete, and it was clear that the owner was very attentive. The only drawback was that there was no elevator, but the owner would help with the luggage. It was very comfortable to bask in the sun on the balcony in winter. The location of the B&B is also great, very close to West Street, 1-2 minutes away. There are many delicious foods on West Street, and my friends and I were so full that we couldn't walk!

Hands down my favorite hostel in the whole of China. Very energetic and nice staff that speak good English. They gave me a pdf guide to the city and even offered to join them for dinner after I came back in the evening. There's a pool table, table football and boardgames if you want to play, and they even have a screen set up for movie nights if you desire. They have a very cute cat and a dog that likes to cuddle. The rooms are good and clean, no complaints there whatsoever. Due to my visa running out I only got to stay one night, but I'm sure I will return in the future. Do fully recommend.

I chose this hotel because of its good location. From here you can walk to the old town in a few minutes. Walk 100 meters from the hotel and cross the traffic light to the edge of the ancient city, where you can take a little white car. There is also a food street opposite the hotel, which makes it convenient to eat whatever you want. Moreover, the hotel staff are very enthusiastic and the rooms are clean and tidy. The stay was so comfortable. Next time I come to Quanzhou, I will choose this hotel again!
