This was the high point of our trip to Ha Giang, perhaps of the entire trip to Viet Nam! We were there on International Women's day and the hostess and the other women in the village were all celebrating in their traditional outfits. this involved a few toasts with potent corn liquor with the guests! The dining area is a little rustic but served among the best meals of the trip (which did include a few Michelin star restaurants). Our friends who were vegetarians had some challenges but certainly did not go hungry. The "forest vegetables" were delicious! the rooms were attractive and clean- but cold! Mosquito netting cleverly included in the decor. So think rustic and embrace the experience!
