If I could leave 0 stars I would. Picked this “luxury” camp for emphasis of it being luxury and meal inclusion. When first arriving to the camp we were escorted to our room where it was near impossible to remove the key and had to go get someone in charge to help. When being in the room i was also trying to plug in the fan and found out that it was going to be impossible to do so because the plug was missing an end to be able to plug in. Next I was arranging the room and although the room was booked for 3 only two towels were delivered to which one of the towels had wholes in it. The tour was great and tour guide was also very welcoming however the tour was given in the Planck of pick up trucks with a makeshift wooden seat and railings while other camps luxury camps were very equipped with proper seating in the back of the truck for the tour. Once arriving back dinner was served where to the dish being offered is typical of Jordan and usually prepared with lamb or mixed lamb and chicken. There was another guest who had made a very far drive from Amman to Wadi Rum for this specific dish to find out when they are serving that it was only chicken which is not how it is prepared. To add on that the “buffet” only had enough food to feed individuals once and although dinner was included, drinks including water had to be purchased and not accommodated, thankfully we had brought waters over from our drive. Later in the night we tried getting a hookah but the camp only has 6-7 for people to use so if you want any you have to wait till someone it is done. Lastly, when trying to lock the room door it was near impossible to close, other family members tried as well but was not working and once again had to get someone from management to come resolve the problem.

The colours of the sands and rocks of Wadi Rum are just beautiful shades of grey, beige, pepple, sand and many hues of brown. Even more beautiful is the wide and starry night sky over the desert. We were fascinated of Big Dipper, Xerxes and many other constellations we had not seen so clearly for years. We had a large and comfortable tent in Yasmina Luxury Camp. In the evening there was a speacial treat - chicken roasted under the sand, and traditional Jordanian cuisine. The staff were friendly, especially Karim the manager. A stay we enjoyed very much.

The rooms here were surprisingly nice for being in the middle of the desert, but there were many bugs in the room. I found three scarab beetles and several ants. After encountering all of those bugs - 2 beetles were in the bathroom, I decided to skip a shower for the night. We went to our desert backyard to admire the view before heading back to the check-in area for dinner. They had asked us to come a little bit early because there was a pre-dinner show involved in unburying the food. There were flies everywhere in the dining area, which made me a bit hesitant about what was safe to eat. We ate quickly then went back to our room. A DJ show started after dinner, and there was loud music for a couple of hours. I was hoping our room would be far enough away that the noise wouldn't be too bothersome, but it definitely was. This was not ideal since we had the earliest pickup time yet for the next morning's tour.

We were four people's on a business trip. The desert is very beautiful and the location is more amazing. It makes you relax and rest your mind. We loved this place. The dinner was good and the rooms are very clean. Unfortunately the wife was slow. Good recommendation from ICRC thanks.
