The Shangri-La hotel is a beautiful hotel located in a prime spot next to the beach. There is a great buzz and range of facilities at the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, however, there were a few frustrating things. I arrived after the check-in time but my room was not yet ready. To compensate for this, I was taken to the executive lounge and my request for a late check out was accepted. At breakfast the next morning, many of the coffee machines had run out of milk and it took a little while for the milk to be topped up.

Nice, basic hotel in a great location. 3.0 star Western standard. Room was clean and spacious. Next door to a great shopping mall and walking distance to a beach and local attractions. Breakfast was fine for the price. Housekeeping is hit-and-miss starting in the afternoons. They forgot to restock our toothbrushes and water bottles more than once. We waited an hour for water one night and they completely skipped turndown service the next night. Probably a staffing issue. Otherwise, the stay was satisfactory and we would choose to stay there again.

The hotel and outdoor facilities convince by a great design and are top maintained. Absolut top Position directly at the wide and clean sandy beach. An absolute highlight is the pool on the roof with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy your stay. The indoor pool area is als very nice. Our room with large balcony and view of the beach was very clean and spacious. In the outdoor area is a large shallow children’s pool. Nice corners and seating areas invite you to linger. The beach directly in front of the hotel is particularly suitable for families with children. The Hotel also has a children area. The breakfast buffet offers a large selection of delicious Chinese and Western dishes. We enjoyed our stay from the first to the last minute!

What a lovely gem of a hotel! I was reluctantly (very reluctantly) persuaded to leave Beijing for the weekend and head for the nesrest beach - Qinhuangdao. The Bullet Train was great fun - we splashed out on first-class tickets and had the first-class cabin all to ourselves. Qinhuangdao was a welcome change of pace from the self-important hussle of Beijing. The bad things first - the weather was terrible and the beach itself is more 1970s Blackpool than present-day Antibes. But the Hampton by Hilton was a delightful surprise. The staff are absolutely delightful. Although they don’t speak English, the use of a few translation apps soon explained to them what we needed and they always did their best to look after us. The rooms are great - we even got a free upgrade to a suite. The breakfast options are many and varied. We were the only Western guests that weekend and the other guests seemed to be Chinese middle-class families. If I had to guess I would say they tended to be from other parts of China as they didn’t seem to be the usual rude impatient Beijingers. It was lovely to see Al the little children having fun with their parents. So, our thanks to the ladies at Reception, the young concierge guys, the housekeepers and the busy breakfast staff. The owners of the this hotel is blessed with great staff. Thank you all so much for looking after us so well.

The scenery was STUNNING. If you are planning to take a quick 2-3 day trip to the beach, this location is perfect. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the public beaches and a couple parks. The service and food at the restaurant was mediocre, but everything else was exceptional. Quite a few seafood options available in the area, but not much else. No microwave or fridge in the room.

Comrade Zhan Weiqi at the front desk was very considerate. He introduced the hotel facilities in detail and helped us upgrade to a sea view room. He gave him a great praise. The room is spacious, fully equipped and has floor-to-ceiling windows with sea views. The restaurant is very large and has a variety of food. From the guidance in the parking lot to the reception at the lobby and the room service, the work is very regular and warm. It's very close to the seaside, just a few minutes' walk away.

A very nice service, listening to guest’s need. Fruit plate every afternoon with delicious fruits. I asked and got room changed due to noise and smell from kitchen. Also agreed to checkout 2 hours later than regular checkout time.

My wife and I took the high-speed rail from Shenyang to Beidaihe Railway Station on September 17, 2023, and got off the bus and took a taxi to the Atour Hotel in Xianluo Island, Nandaihe. Before I came, I chose this hotel for homework because it was close to the sea and the surrounding area was convenient. I stayed here for a trip. I really chose Atour. The breakfast was rich and great. The room decoration was very new, the facilities were complete, the front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the bottled water was free and unlimited. There are many seafood restaurants around, and there is a supermarket tens of meters away, which is convenient for shopping. I am the first time to stay at Atour Hotel and will become the first choice in the future.

J had a lovely stay at the Argyle resort and the fact that you just need to cross the parking lot to get to the Dongshan Bathing Spot is definitely amazing! There are some tourist attractions close by, but very far from historical sites. The room was ok, but it looked different from the pictures. Probably a bit of mold on the wall or water damage, dirty windows, and a piece of the wardrobe door was broken. Not what I would expect at a resort. The breakfast had so many options, but very few western choices, limited to sliced bread, butter and jam, yogurt, fruits and coffee. The coffee machine always had an issue, but the staff quickly came to fix it. During my stay there, everyday someone complained about the coffee maker. One of the things that I found really nice is that every day they would bring or leave fruit in my room. But on the last day, I was sleeping, and someone came in. She did apologize, but it was weird having someone in your room while you’re there. In terms of amenities, they have everything really! From shower cap to razors. And the blow dryer was really good! Because it was golden week, the staff was overwhelmed with work (lots of guests and weddings) and they didn’t talk about the facilities - gym, pool, hot springs.

Travel during the Spring Festival to see the winter sea. It was my first time staying at Atour Hotel. Overall, it was very good and I was quite satisfied. I will come again next time. First of all, the location is relatively superior, facing Shangri-La and across a road. The hotel is also relatively close to the beach. It takes less than ten minutes to drive to the shopping mall. There is also a convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient. The parent-child room we stayed in was right at the corner, so the toilet was relatively narrow and the corridor of the hotel was not very spacious. Atour Hotel has supper at night, just simple porridge and small steamed buns, which is enough to show the hotel's intentions. Each room has its own open kitchenette, which can make some simple food or cook seafood. It is also convenient for families with children to make food for their children, which is very good. The lobby staff of the hotel is particularly enthusiastic. A large group of us had something to do temporarily, so we sat in the lobby for a while. The front desk staff immediately gave each person a glass of water. The service was warm and thoughtful. There were also free snacks and popcorn in the hotel lobby, and the service was comparable to that of a five-star hotel. The breakfast was quite rich and tasted good, but the place was a little small. When I was leaving, I saw an auntie cleaning the hall and mopping in the sink in the hall bathroom. Is there no dedicated sink? It was not clean, which was the only disappointment.
