Hotels in Shanhaiguan station area, Qinhuangdao

This was the best day of my four-day trip. The sanitation was excellent, the facilities were new, and all were high-quality products. The breakfast was handmade and not pre-made. Overall, the evaluation was good.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in China. It is world class. The staff are some welcoming and helpful. Although I don’t speak any Chinese they made every effort to communicate with me. We used translate Apps. Everyone was super nice. The room was very large, new and I loved the Tea Station. I have never seen one like this. The location is superb. Right in the middle of the historic village but it is very quiet at night. The breakfast was simple but satisfying. I recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Super five-star experience! Must recommend with full marks! The environment is elegant and comfortable, and the quaint courtyard makes people relax as soon as they enter the door. The sanitary conditions are particularly good, clean and tidy, and it is particularly reassuring to live here! The boss and the waiter are very enthusiastic, and they take care of you from check-in to check-out, making you feel at home! Special thanks to the boss for upgrading the room type for free. The elders and children live very comfortably, and breakfast is also given. The service is really nothing to say! Such a homestay must be given a five-star rating, highly recommended! I will definitely stay here next time I come to Shanhaiguan!

There are touts outside the hotel and train station. Cab is around 10 rmb to the hotel from station. Touts will charge 20rmb. Touts will ask u to go to the further great wall at 20 rmb. Then when u are there they will aggressively tell u that it's difficult to get a cab. They will try to bring you to further places or get u to book them for a day for 100 rmb. Avoid! They will be rude when U want to go with your itinerary and they drive recklessly. There seems to be a gang of them outside. The hotel is a bit run down and needs some maintenance. The shower handle was falling off. So is the lift railings. Other than that it is clean. supper and breakfast was disappointing if u are from Malaysia or Singapore.

Shanhaiguan is just a few minutes' walk away, making it super convenient for exploring the ancient city! · Incredible service: The owner was warm and welcoming, providing detailed instructions from check-in to travel guides. He was always responsive and felt like a friend. · Perfect experience: Quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, I slept soundly at night. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Shanhaiguan; it's an absolute value for money!

It was my first time to visit the beautiful ancient city of Shanhaiguan. The hotel environment was very quiet. The room facilities were a bit old, but very clean. The waiters were warm and attentive. It only took 6 minutes to walk to the No. 1 Pass in the World. There was not much traffic in the ancient city this season. I guess this hotel will be full in the summer.

Wow, this hotel is a hidden treasure! This was our first hotel on our China trip, and what an amazing experience. The hotel is located inside the walled area under The First Pass Under Heaven. Our room was beautiful with a window of the courtyard. You can practice your calligraphy in your room, which is fun. All the staff are fantastic. They are very kind and helpful, and although we couldn't speak Chinese, the staff had a fantastic app that made things easy. Do visit the on-site museum where you can try the arts. The breakfast was Chinese style and delicious. This hotel was perfect! Thank you for having us.

This was a super satisfying stay! Since we had two babies, the owner upgraded us to a larger room for free. They even provided snacks for the kids. The courtyard was lovely, with adorable animals like rabbits, roosters, geese, and a deer that you could feed. Breakfast was excellent, and you can also order dinner at the restaurant; the braised eggplant and stir-fried pork with chili peppers were especially delicious. The place is very close to Shanhaiguan, so it's a great option for families with babies. The place was very clean, and all the appliances were smart. The owner's service was exceptional! Thank you!

Facilities: basic standard. This price is already cost-effective. I paid 590 for three nights. Check-in on September 8, 2024. Hygiene: We are also satisfied Environment: It is very close to the ancient town. It is convenient to go to the surrounding area for dinner and breakfast. There are fried rice, noodles, spicy hot pot, night market, KFC, and bakery. Take a taxi (choose a ride) to Jiaoshan Great Wall, which is about 11 yuan for about 5 kilometers. It is difficult to take a taxi without adding a fare on the return trip, so we walked back. Going to Lao Ma Tou is in the opposite direction of Jiaoshan Great Wall, so this hotel is probably between these two attractions. Service: very good.

Excellent service. Staff was so friendly and helpful. They mangas to change our room without any extra fee.. Hotel was clean. Will definitely return soon.
