Family-friendly Hotels in Qingyuan

Our stay at the Sheraton Lion Lake Hotel can be summarised in one word, disappointing. I believe this was/has the potential to be a lovely hotel to visit. The hotel and its grounds are massive, however, most areas are closed and there is a general feeling of abandonment. Fountains and water features are empty, shops closed, grass is overgrown and facilities a little dated and tired. The indoor pool and one of the restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was not very clean. What it did have was excellent customer service, the Moroccan theme was very cool and the rooms overlooking the lake were clean and had a lovely balcony. Overall, not worth the money. If you are looking for a base to sight-see Qingyuan, there are much cheaper hotels around and if you are wanting to enjoy a staycation this will be a disappointment.

Mayland is a lovely resort. Their staff are very kind and helpful. 雷欣（Suet Yan) was particularly helpful. We couldn’t sort our app to get a car and she helped us. The changing rooms for the resort pool needs a refresh. Even just changing some of the curtains and better lighting will make the place look better. Lots of hot springs to pick from. Nice indoor pool. Need to swim with a swim cap though. Outdoor pool in the photos is actually not accessible by guest. Chinese restaurant was delicious. Buffet was acceptable for 178¥

We had an absolute great time staying at KHOS for a family trip, just for one night but we enjoyed the hot springs waters at night and the facilities for children during day time. A lot of options to enjoy with family. The staff was great super helpful and nice and the room super nice, very spacious and with nice view. The food was also good but breakfast has not many western options. Overall is a great experience worth the price, great option for a weekend away from the city. I have to say I went during weekday with not many people.

At about 2:10 in the afternoon on February 16, 2024, the waitress at Yanshuangmaiyu Double Afternoon Tea Restaurant had a very poor service attitude and her character was extremely disgusting to the guests. As a service staff who is the representative image of Qingyuan's old brand international hotel , even because of a small request of the guest whether he could change the drink into a cake, he made things difficult for the guest in every possible way. One moment he said yes, the next moment he said no, the next moment he said he could only ask for bread, and the next moment he said he couldn't have cake. He also said that you need to use two loaves to exchange for one cake. Then he said that the bread was also the worst and smallest of the two, and you couldn't choose the other slightly better ones. Then he said that it was originally a gift, what a mess of service, and it was still five stars. The service of the hotel is so troublesome for guests with such small things. Originally, a family of young and old came from Guangzhou to Qingyuan to help your hotel during the Chinese New Year holiday. They were attracted by your so-called five-star brand. The environmental sanitation and service were quite satisfactory before. , I came here happily, especially Ms. Xie at the front desk of the hotel, the room cleaning lady and other services are very good. The service attitude is good, which makes people feel more happy about staying in the hotel. I also left a message of praise for the room. I hope the hotel will become better and better. The better, Qingyuan is getting better and better. I really didn't expect that the last afternoon tea service was so sorry to the guests. The waitress's behavior not only harmed the guests' consumption interests, but also damaged the original good image of your international hotel, and also damaged the entire Qingyuan tourism. Culture, hotel culture, cultural tourism image, the good impression I had on Qingyuan International Hotel, as soon as it passed through your hands and was given by you, has been wiped out by you and I don’t know where to go. It’s disgusting. At that time, I didn't argue with her so as not to disturb other family members and other guests. Otherwise, I would immediately complain to her on the spot. At that time, I tolerated this for the time being. In a word, if you don't apologize to the guest, you won't give the guest one back. Satisfactory reply, I will not stay at Qingyuan International Hotel again in the future. I don’t believe that the hotel allows such unqualified service staff to continue doing things that harm the interests of guests and the image of the hotel without accepting punishment or correction.

The hotel room is spacious, comfortable and bright, the air conditioning is very powerful, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, the transportation is convenient, and you can park for free, which is convenient and fast. In addition, the check-in at the front desk is fast, the service is attentive and considerate, and the room has a view of golf and lake , the scenery is attractive. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied. The family and children are very happy. Overall good, recommended [strong]

First time staying at Qingyuan and choose this hotel. Overall is satisfactory. Only complaint is that my favourite hot tub is small and crowded, locals don’t seem to leave the tub even when they are not using it, and talk too loudly. Sauna and steam rooms temperature has set too high. Due to cold weather we have dinner at the Chinese restaurant for 2 nights, and satisfying on both occasions, food was good, service was good, and reasonable prices. Difficult to call taxi though if you want to move around.

As soon as I entered the door, I was warmed by this towel-folded dog in the room🐶 The child likes it very much. There is a sweet smell of mountains and forests in the air. The room is so quiet that you can hear your heartbeat with the door closed. You can really sleep in seconds. Compared with the so-called mountain group meals outside (that is, the three outside the gate), the northern Guangdong dishes in the restaurant center in the hotel are too authentic, and the mushrooms alone are several grades higher than those of the restaurants outside. It is strongly recommended to have Chinese food in the hotel, and the price is no different from the small villa outside the door. The included sports center ball games are also very good, and the badminton court is also great. Seeing the staff wearing the thick coats of Evergrande Football School, there is an inexplicable intimacy. The temperature of the outdoor hot spring at night is suitable, the water temperature is about 42 ℃. When the outdoor temperature is about 10 ℃, the children did not feel cold after playing for more than an hour. Looking forward to picking a sunny day next time to see the stars in the sky.

The villa is very close to the hot springs in the public area, more than 100 meters walk. Far from the lobby, it is estimated to be ten minutes walk. The entire hotel is in Vanke's real estate and you can drive to the commercial street. Commercial street market, convenience store, snack restaurant, pharmacy, etc. are all available. You can buy vegetables and daily necessities back to the villa to cook. After check-in, there is a cookie fruit plate in the afternoon and sugar water in the evening. All drinks in the double-door large refrigerator are free to drink. The living room has a double-headed battery stove, microwave oven, oven, mahjong machine, washing machine. The slightly inconvenient thing is that the hot water time of the private hot spring pool is from 3 pm to 10 pm, and there are about two pools of water. Because the weather is cold, the pool does not swim. There is also an outdoor bath outside the master bedroom. After washing, open the door and enter the room. It should be full of water in hot summer.

The location of the hotel is surrounded by construction projects so there can be some noise, although it didn’t bother me much. The breakfast choices were just ok and it took a while for food to be replenished if there wasn’t anymore left. The room was clean and tidy when I first arrived and the service is helpful. It was a satisfactory stay.

The hotel is in the city center, on the edge of Beijiang. The area is large, there are many parking spaces, and the transportation is convenient. The room is clean and sanitary. There is a non-smoking floor on the 5th floor. It is very good. It is an old hotel with complete facilities. There is a garden corridor where you can rest quietly. The food in the equipped restaurant building is delicious. In the evening, you can take a walk across the road to see the river view. There is also a bar street behind the hotel. Suitable for business and travel. The buffet breakfast is small but has the quality of a big restaurant
