Family Friendly Hotels in Qingyuan

I booked a stay at this 5 star hotel for 3 days 2 nights, I must say that the room is clean and spacious, with numerous facilities for all family members such as badminton, tennis, billard, hotspring, cycling, archery etc. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service. 2 staff we encountered were constantly on their phone and not attentive at all. What really pissed us off was the incident that we put up Do Not Disturb at our door as we were taking our afternoon nap. Yet, the hotel staff called our room number. as we were asleep, we didn't pick up. Guess what. They actually called my mobile phone. Just to ask if they need to clean the room. We went to seek clarifications at the hotel reception which the reception staff at first deny they called, until we showed them the missed call number from the hotel. Then they said will feedback to their manager. At night, the manager Ms Wong called. to our disgust, she said that was their SOP! Which hotel, to say this is a 5 star hotel, that when guest put up Do Not Disturb sign, it's their SOP to call the room and worst to call guests' personal mobile phone. Isn't this an invasion of privacy, calling our personal line. This is the first time we experienced this. We never had this when we put up Do Not Disturb sign at numerous hotels we stayed before. The manager didn't sound apologetic at all but very defensive. Even to the extent that they are checking on pir safety. I was really perturbed by her comment above. The view is very beautiful to look at, especially at night where the lights shine. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym which is really good when you want to have a workout. The service here is great and the people here at this hotel is very nice. Come here if you get a chance, too.

A housekeeper added WeChat a week in advance and sent out activities on the same day. The activities were super rich. The whole family never came out since they entered. Many people brought cute dogs to vacation. There are many small animals to feed, sheep, cows, deer, horses, rabbits, peacocks, and pigeons. You can fish, row boats, and slide in the afternoon. The sand pool is also very large. There are 3 sand pools with complete props. JOJO little housekeeper invited us to pick fruits the next day, tracked activities in real time, and specially arranged late check-out, so the children can sleep again. I had 2 meals and drank rice coffee twice in the hotel that day. It was good overall, all 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

The 270-degree lake view room is amazing. It feels like living in a bonsai, lying on the lake view. This B&B is the most advanced B&B I have ever stayed in. It not only has floor heating but also central air conditioning. There are various types of public areas. Breakfast is provided in a buffet style like a hotel. Considering that the B&B is located halfway up the mountain, it provides warm dinner service for guests. The hotel is in a good location, awesome 👍

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gong He Yuan Hotel , and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm smiles of the staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The lobby was elegantly decorated and created a cozy atmosphere, which set the tone for my entire visit. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. Our beds were incredibly comfortable, providing us with a restful night’s sleep every night of our stay. The hotel amenities were fantastic! I especially enjoyed the pool area; which was well-maintained. The on-site restaurant served delightful meals, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes. I particularly loved the breakfast buffet — a great way to start the day! Overall, my experience at Gong He Yuan Hotel was nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it!

In the season of peach blossoms, you can enjoy the flowers and soak in hot springs to relieve the fatigue of the day. I chose to stay in Yunman Hot Spring B&B, which is relatively new in Sankeng Town. It has a good environment and a certain number of room types. The rooms are simple, clean and hygienic. The hot spring water is of good quality. It is self-service. The breakfast is diverse and tastes good. The waiter is very polite. There are also many farms and restaurants nearby, so it is convenient to find food. It is my first time to choose a B&B and I have a good impression.

The scenery was beautiful, but unfortunately the water level was a little low. It might be better in summer. The farmhouse dishes were generous in size. We ordered a chicken and vegetables on the first night. The mother and daughter didn't eat much, but they finished the vegetables and only ate half of the rice cooker chicken. So we only ordered vegetarian dishes on the second night. It's suitable for emptying yourself and being in a daze. Very good.

Food: The breakfast buffet provided by the guest room is good in variety and quality, but I can't eat so much. The Chinese restaurant is not on the same floor as the guest room. The two places are about 100 meters away. The discount for Chinese New Year lunch cannot be used, but the dishes are better than expected. Next time, try Qingyuan specialty Qingyuan chicken. Traditional handmade: lacquer fan/sachet (choose one of the two): unexpected surprise, the children are very interested. Play in the squirrel tribe: The squirrel tribe is outdoors, with pheasants, pigeons, squirrels, rabbits, marmots, and raccoons. It is good to bring some nuts and bread to feed the animals. It is also convenient to buy on the spot, enough to play for a morning. Play table tennis or billiards for 2 hours: You can play for two hours on the first floor (not the lobby floor) by swiping your room card. The picture shows the breakfast buffet environment. Bamboo noodles are the main product of the breakfast. The last picture shows garlic ribs and dry fried beef noodles, which are the products of the Chinese restaurant.

The whole homestay is built on the mountain, and the design is very strong. The whole Taohua Lake is in sight. It is rare to have such a scenery in Guangdong, which makes people feel happy and relax. The room is very hygienic, the supporting facilities are very good, it is recommended 👍

I was awakened by bats at five o'clock in the morning. The sound was very loud and thought it was a mouse. It is recommended that the store can hang some prompts in the famous hotel, so that it is not thought to be a large mouse. The decoration is very good, The private pool of the accommodation is very clean, the privacy and the outdoor environment are well balanced, and there is no worry about soaking up!
