At night, the light shines on the surrounding buildings, so the night view is beautiful. The nearby tourist attraction is not far away, so you can take a taxi in about 10 minutes. 2. Room Condition: The room is clean as it is a new hotel. I used it well because there was an air purifier. The amenities are sufficiently set up. It is convenient to control the curtains and lights. 3. Breakfast: It was nice to have a meal while looking at the sea at the restaurant, and I could eat Chinese and western styles. The instant noodles and huntun were delicious. It was convenient to make coffee and bring it to me right away. 4. Swimming Pool: I liked the swimming pool the most in this hotel. It was comfortable because I could swim while looking at the sea and there were not many people. The people who work in the swimming pool are really nice. I asked them to take a picture because I was alone, and they were willing to take it, so I appreciate it. If I come to Qingdao again, it is a hotel I want to come back to.👍👍👍

This is the second time I have stayed here. The last time I stayed here was in summer and it was very close to the seaside. The sea view room was great. This time it’s winter. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

I stayed here 5 years ago and it is just as good now as it was then. The decoration of the rooms is simple, but clean and with a cool vibe. The rest of the hotel has great character, with sitting areas at the end of each floor. The lounge and restaurant is huge and inviting. All the staff are very polite and friendly. Of course, the breakfast is fantastic with several choices of freshly prepared meals (American, British, omelette, or French toast). The hotel is well located close to most of the sites tourists would want to see and also convenient to a subway station. I don’t often write reviews but this is the type of place that feels special and becomes a positive part of your trip.
