I'm extremely pleased with my stay, and it offers excellent value for money. The hotel is located right on Zhongshan Road. While the area downstairs is bustling, the soundproofing is excellent, so the room was very quiet. The location is superb; several famous attractions are within walking distance, making it ideal for city walks. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were incredibly warm and helpful. The room came equipped with a complimentary mini-fridge and drinks, and even a nail care kit – a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and it tasted great. The hotel's entrance isn't grand, but the overall experience was top-notch, which is why I've written such a lengthy review. Satisfied!

My stay here truly exceeded all expectations! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring shops and finding delicious food. It's also well-connected by public transport. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and thoughtful; check-in was a breeze, and they patiently answered all my inquiries. The room was sparkling clean, and the bed was so comfortable, I never wanted to leave it! The soundproofing was impressive too, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. While breakfast wasn't included, the surrounding area offers a plethora of fantastic and diverse breakfast options, which truly wasn't an issue at all. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area!

The room was spotless and well-equipped, featuring a charming retro-style courtyard design. Most importantly, it's located right on Shangjieli Pedestrian Street, which I consider Qingdao's best spot for photos, shopping, and soaking in the local vibe (Yinyu Lane is close but doesn't compare). As soon as you step out, you're surrounded by various small shops, so you'll have no trouble finding food, drinks, or entertainment. Don't bother booking breakfast with your room; there are plenty of breakfast options right across the street. You're also right on the famous Zhongshan Road. The Cathedral is just a short walk away, and if you head south for about 800 meters, you'll reach Zhanqiao Pier, perfect for playing in the sand by the sea. On your way back, a seafood meal at '1937' is highly recommended and truly satisfying. The hotel also has a designated, very convenient parking lot, just about a 5-minute walk away. For day two, if you plan to drive to Badaguan, simply search for 'Badaguan Scenic Area Taipingjiao 1st Road Ground Parking Lot' for convenient parking. From there, you can walk along the coast directly to Huashi Lou (Flower Stone Building) and then explore the area's other attractions at your leisure.

This hotel would be the best hotel in Zhongshan Area. Hotel Name is included with ” Min-sook”. But it is similar with Hotel. I have traveled in Japan, China and Asia countries in 2024~2025. This hotel is the best hotel based on Money Value. I booked the twin room but it was promoted to Sweet room with balcony. I could look around the ZhongShan road.I stayed 3'rd floor and very convenient to move via elevator. All staff is kind and helpful and you need not purchase the drinking water in store. In frond desk, I could take a complimentary water bottle as many as I like. The most important thing is location. I took a subway from Airport to hotel. the Zhongshan road station is the next building from hotel. I took only 1 min form subway station. it is so good. Just subway fee 7 yien per person. but it took as 1 and half hour. but I think it would be one of travelling. 2'nd positive thing is I could choose the Various restaurants in nearby. seafood , china food, steak and especially, CHAGEE is opposite from hotel. I will stay again with my family in next time.

This is a really charming hostel, converted from a century-old building, with lovely common areas. The location is superb, right near Zhongshan Road Metro Station (Line 1) and close to the Dabao Island Historic and Cultural Block, making many old town attractions easily reachable on foot. Getting to the beach or seaside is also a breeze, with a very convenient bus stop for route 228 just around the corner. Given that traffic can be an issue in the old town, the metro and bus options near the hostel absolutely covered all my transportation needs during my 3-day stay in Qingdao. Dining is also very convenient; the hostel's own restaurant serves delicious meals, and it's easy to grab a coffee. Plus, there's a variety of dining establishments nearby, and food delivery can be brought to the front desk for pick-up. While the nearby Dabao Island themed post office offers souvenir stamps (requires a purchase and doesn't have postmarks), I'd highly recommend walking a bit further to the Guangxi Road Post Office Branch instead, where you can get stamps for free and they even have three different postmarks available!

The hotel is easily accessible: take Metro Line 1 to Zhongshan Road Station, Exit A. From there, it's a short walk across a small pedestrian street and over a footbridge. It's not far at all. The hotel just opened two months ago, so all its facilities are quite new. Upon entering the lobby, the air conditioning was running strongly, and the space felt very bright and spacious. There were sofas for guests to relax, display cabinets, delivery lockers, and other decorations. During check-in, guests are proactively asked to add the hotel's WeChat account, which they use to provide more efficient service. The hotel has three floors and is served by a single, rather small elevator. While the corridors are not wide, the rooms themselves are quite spacious. However, the soundproofing is poor; noises from adjacent rooms were clearly audible at night. This seems to be a limitation due to the hotel's structural design. Each room comes with a small round table and chairs, which is handy for placing belongings. The twin beds were comfortably firm (neither too soft nor too hard), ensuring a good night's sleep. The smart room controls were adequate, and the shower offered excellent water pressure and heat. While the air conditioning worked effectively, it was quite noisy and not particularly quiet. Despite this, the overall stay was pleasant. You can really tell that the team is dedicated to running this hotel; the service is excellent, and requests are handled very promptly. However, due to some objective limitations, certain aspects can't compare to luxury hotels. While summer prices were a bit high, the hotel's location is superb, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Metro Line 1 provides quick access to many destinations, and it's just one stop away from Qingdao Station, making it perfect for train travelers. Breakfast is served on the first floor. The dining area isn't large but never felt crowded, and tables were cleared very quickly. The spread included common items like porridge, noodles, wontons, steamed buns, pan-fried dumplings, bread, cream cake, eggs, coffee, milk, soy milk, yogurt, and a few hot dishes. It's a fairly standard, popular breakfast selection, but items were replenished promptly, and the taste was quite decent. While not lavish, it certainly wasn't bad. I also noticed hotel staff holding morning briefings in the lobby, which seems like a good operational practice. Umbrellas are available for rent at the front desk if it rains, and the staff are very friendly and approachable. They even proactively reached out after my departure to inquire about my stay, which clearly shows their dedication to providing excellent service. The hotel was quite busy with people coming and going, so I didn't take any photos there. Instead, here are some beautiful pictures of Qingdao's scenery.

Facilities: The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The butler service was very attentive and thoughtful. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean, the temperature was perfect, and there were no unpleasant odors. The soundproofing was also excellent. Environment: The traffic getting here was incredibly congested, so I'd strongly advise against driving. A heads-up about peak times to avoid would have been really helpful. Qinyu Road Instagrammable Couple's Afternoon Coffee & Cake: Both the cake and coffee were of excellent quality, truly great from presentation to taste. However, the service attitude wasn't as good as what you'd find at a guesthouse. When verifying our room number, the staff quickly scanned one page and immediately claimed they couldn't find our booking, despite it being on the very next page. They came across as quite impatient and unprofessional. Nevertheless, the ambiance and the food quality were excellent, and the breakfast was also delicious.

I fell in love with this hotel at first sight. The hotel exudes a classical atmosphere, the room is large and has a piano, the service is very good, there are delicious food everywhere, and it is close to the pier. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the water pressure is a bit low, and the shower is not very refreshing 😂

Pros: Location is very good, within walking distance to Zhanqiao Pier, Zhongshan Pedestrian Street and Hall of the People MRT Station. Wonderful sea view too. Cons: Hotel furnishings and interiors are quite dated and the mattress can be a bit hard. Soundproofing is also quite weak so you can hear guests from adjacent rooms talking.

The cleanliness was exceptional! I was pleasantly surprised to find the smart TV equipped with premium SVIP memberships for all major streaming platforms – a huge plus that allowed us to happily binge-watch various variety shows. And talk about a lifesaver! After overindulging, returning to the hotel and being offered complimentary iced hawthorn juice felt like pure redemption; it was absolutely delicious! The hotel slippers also deserve praise; they actually had proper soles, unlike the usual flimsy ones. The only minor drawback is the hotel's slightly inconvenient location. Other than that, everything was perfect.
