My stay at the Qingdao Haitian Hotel was nothing short of excellent, with every aspect of the experience exceeding my expectations. The location is perfect, you can easily walk around the old town and to the train station. The room is small, but the design is good and they provide many amenities. The bathroom light didn't work, but after asking they quickly sent someone up to change the bulb.

This hotel has a great location almost next to Qingdao station and easy walking distance to the pier and other sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was tired but comfortable. Breakfast was fairly typical Chinese style but good enough to set you up for the day. Went in the May Day holiday so was quite pricey. Probably much more reasonable outside of peak times. Would definitely consider staying again.

I arrived at the hotel quite late and was upgraded to a family suite with direct sea views, which was very nice. The location is very good, the service staff are friendly, and the breakfast is okay.

這次帶孩子去青島，住的地方選在了青島站附近，晚上下了火車不到十分鐘就到了金海大酒店。辦理住宿時還免費升級了房間，還送了水果，牛奶，牛奶還是熱好了的，服務細緻體貼。房間乾淨整潔。走的那天是下午四點火車，打電話到前台詢問退房，前台小宋表示可以申請延遲退房到下午三點半，問題完美解決。退房後前台小張還送了禮物，有吃的有水，還有嶗山茶葉。愉快出行，就選金海。

Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

This is the best hotel to stay in Qingdao. Miss sister is very good. She helped me with my luggage. When I went there, I ordered a dumpling. Because there was no pepper, I asked Miss Sister. Miss Sister directly brought me several packs of spicy strips. What dumplings eat extra fragrant, I really experienced the hospitality of Shandong people, the room was very clean, and the sea view could be seen from the side. I was really satisfied with a stay. I felt that I was traveling alone and I could feel the warmth of home.

Novotel has stayed abroad many times before, and it is a hotel of the same level as Shangri-La Hilton. This time I saw that there is also one in Qingdao, and it was only renovated in 2021, so I decided to order this one decisively, and I was not disappointed at all. The interior decoration of the hotel is very new. I have seen the details of the bathroom glass mirror window sills, and they are all spotlessly cleaned. And the high floor can see the sea view and mountain view, and the distance from May Fourth Square in Mixc City is not too far. Will definitely stay again next time. Also, I would like to praise the front desk of the hotel, it is really considerate, the baby is playing tricks in the lobby and refuses to leave, and gave us a conch whistle, we must give the front desk a promotion and salary increase🤣

This is the second time I have stayed here. The last time I stayed here was in summer and it was very close to the seaside. The sea view room was great. This time it’s winter. A little yellow duck themed room was prepared in advance, and the children have been playing in the tent. The service is also good. Just downstairs is the subway station, which is very convenient to go anywhere.
