The location is good, which is in the laoshan district, half an hour driving from qingdao north railway station. Took the whole family to the polar ocean park. By the way, the ocean park is a must visit. We can see both the polar bear and the penguins, as well as the dolphin/ whale/ seal performance. Cleaning service is satisfactory. Thanks to “张冬梅” who provided high standard service and gave us extra drinks. We request kids slippers on the first night and then the second day we found out both kids slippers and tooth brush are in the room. Very proactive

Decided to visit Qingdao on a whim, so I booked this established hotel. A big thank you to the warm and attentive front desk staff! They were super helpful and changed my room to a king-size bed last minute after I realized I'd booked the wrong room type. And wow, that king bed was massive! The room itself was also very spacious, and they even provided a selection of pillows. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but there was certainly enough to eat. The lady making noodles at breakfast was incredibly patient, adjusting portions and blanching various vegetables for guests. The room cleaning staff were also fantastic! During the Beer Festival, the front desk even had a beer tasting counter. The location is a bit further from the city center, but I chose this area specifically for surfing. It's about a 10-minute drive from Shilaoren Beach and about 30 minutes by car to Mount Laoshan. Cons: Parking is quite limited, and there are no EV charging stations.

Went for a weekend trip with my partner. We wanted a place that is central to visit the mountain area (with the fishing village etc) and the beach. It’s quite far away if you plan to take transport but by taxi it’s okay. In China location is key since every city is so big. The hotel amenities however are incredible and so is the staff.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff was reasonably arranged, the service was good, and it was more humane. We came to Qingdao North Station at 6 pm, thank you very much! There are subway stations around it is very convenient, the surrounding area is still a residential area, the price of eating is reasonable and delicious, through the bridge hole, a whole restaurant is eaten by locals, very good. If you go to Qingdao next time, you will choose to stay. Breakfast is slightly improved, and the variety is better. The only regret is that I forgot to take a photo of the hotel, I can take a photo with a trip.

The hotel is quite new, clean, comfortable, and has a minimalist design. The service was excellent; they were incredibly thoughtful, especially by installing bed rails for our baby. The room design is practical and well-thought-out, featuring a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. For parents traveling with a lot of baby gear, the spacious bathroom counter was a lifesaver – perfect for changing diapers. The under-mount sink also made washing our baby's hair incredibly convenient. Frankly, it's more accommodating for families than many five-star hotels. Oh, and a special mention: Atour's pillows are absolutely legendary!

Complaint: change in ownership during our stay meant that it became a smoking establishment whereas it had previously been nonsmoking. Not a small disappointment.

The large, comfortable mattress was excellent. The hotel offers both above-ground and underground parking, which is incredibly convenient for guests traveling by car. **Cleanliness:** The hotel maintains five-star hygiene standards throughout. The housekeeping staff were meticulous and diligent in their work. **Location:** The hotel is situated in a business development zone, surrounded by office buildings. Wanda Plaza is just a short distance away, offering numerous dining options and making it very convenient for meals. **Service:** Overall, the hotel's service was good. However, a bit more warmth and smiles from the front desk staff would elevate the experience even further, as IHG front desks typically excel in this regard. The proactive and enthusiastic welcome from the lobby greeters and bell staff, in particular, was commendable. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The hotel's breakfast buffet was incredibly rich, and the Western dishes tasted great. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit!

This is a perfect travel experience. From check-in to check-out, the service is thoughtful and warm, which fully satisfies the butler-style experience. In particular, elaine, a colleague in the customer relations department, carefully helped me solve the dietary problem and gave me an exquisite fruit plate.
