Sweetome Vacation Apartment (Qingdao Wanda Oriental Cinema)

The apartment is spacious, clean and has a nice view. Just leave the room card in the room when you check out. There is no front desk. I had to wait a long time to get the room card after booking.

The area around this hotel is quite lively. Unfortunately, the check-in procedure is too troublesome. The check-in place is not in the same place as the front desk, but across a river. After checking in at the front desk, it takes about 15 minutes to walk across the bridge. I called the parking lot several times before arriving, but they didn't tell me that the front desk and the check-in room are not in the same place. They even asked us to drive the car to the underground parking lot at the front desk. After we took all the luggage to the first floor to check in, they told us that we didn't live in this building and asked us to walk across the bridge. It was hot, tiring, and late, so we had to go to the basement and drive to the opposite side to check in. The key point is that the 2 garden king-size bed rooms I booked were upgraded to sea view rooms, but they were not as big as the rooms where my friends stayed. The key point is that the air conditioner was blowing towards the bed. I told the front desk but nothing happened. I chose this chain on purpose, but it was the most uncomfortable night.

This is the first time we review a hotel. Let’s talk about our views on the hotel from an objective perspective. First, the good things: the bed is relatively soft, the room is relatively large, and all the necessary facilities are available. Apart from the above, here are the things we want to complain about. (1) Different treatment by the front desk guy named Liu. ① We booked the hotel at the end of July. At that time, the premium was not so serious, less than 200 yuan per night. We arrived in Qingdao at 8 o’clock in the morning on August 9. Because it was too hot, we waited for check-in in advance at the hotel. On the way, we asked Mr. Liu about when we could check in. He replied perfunctorily that he didn’t know. Less than 20 minutes later, another guest who drove came and asked the same question. He smiled and replied: We will definitely be able to check in after 11 o’clock. ②At that time, a guest was about to check out. Another aunt (who had a good attitude) clearly said that we would be given a room in Building 5. Later, the aunt asked Mr. Liu which room he was going to assign us. He lowered his voice and glanced at us. I don’t know what he was saying, but we all had a hunch that we might not be assigned a good room. Sure enough, I will describe it in detail in point (2). (2) Specific problems with the room ①First, the first feeling when entering the room was that the smell of cooking was very strong. It filled the entire floor and the room was full of the smell of rice. ②The second problem was the room type. We booked a deluxe garden view room, but we were given a chess and card room, and it was on the third floor. The third floor was the only large flat in the entire building. The desk completely blocked my view, and I couldn't see anything, as shown in Figure 1 ②The second issue was hygiene. It was obvious that it was because of the peak season. The auntie cleaned it perfunctorily. The bed was made very casually, and the sheets were stained a lot, as shown in Figure 2 (the reflection was not taken clearly, but there were obvious yellow marks on the spot) ③Finally, there was a problem with the facilities. There was no socket between the two beds in such a big room. There was only one socket next to the bed. The socket was very loose, and my charger often fell off, as shown in Figure 3 In summary, this stay clearly felt that the hotel treated guests of the same room type at different prices differently during the peak season, and the stay was uncomfortable. Qingdao is a beautiful place. I hope to receive more kindness next time.
