Manju Gallery Hotel and Boutique (Qingdao, Laoshan)

The stay was fantastic. Located within the Laoshan Scenic Area, it's a 10-minute walk to Liuqing River Beach and a 15-minute taxi ride from Taiqing Palace and Bashui River Scenic Area. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and sea, the scenery is breathtaking. At night, the courtyard is incredibly quiet, and you can hear the crashing of the waves, creating a truly tranquil and relaxing retreat. The homestay boasts a rich artistic atmosphere. The owner is a renowned painter, and the lobby is filled with ink paintings and displays of art. The guest rooms also feature art, creating a feeling of being in a miniature art gallery. We have adopted two dogs and a dozen cats, all of whom are incredibly well-cared for and loved by the children. Words simply cannot describe its beauty.

Facilities: The interior furnishings are very beautiful, with unique furniture and tiles. The room was beautiful, but Pierre described it as a sea view room, and while I was told the view was through the trees, it was actually completely obstructed. The label should be removed. The in-room Wi-Fi worked, but there was no internet connection. Cleanliness: Average. I added a pillow, which I saw on the carpet upon entering. The toilet was also not very clean. Environment: Located near the Laoshan Scenic Area, access is very convenient, a five-kilometer drive. However, living is quite inconvenient. There are no decent restaurants, so I had to choose between lunch and dinner at the roadside food stalls at the foot of the mountain, which were terrible. Takeout was also unavailable, as it's quite remote. The road up the mountain is steep and difficult to drive, so be careful when driving. Service: Breakfast was provided, and it was quite cozy. There were two adorable dogs. For a price of two thousand yuan, adding a few bottles of water was an extra charge, which detracted from the experience. I needed a few bottles of water for tea in the room, and they seemed reluctant. I told them I could pay, and they reluctantly agreed to a few bottles. The snack basket was delicious. The mini-bar was decent. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it. 6 out of 5.

The mountain villa beside Liuqing River is unique and worth staying for one more night. It is beautiful and fun.

I was fortunate to stay in this artistic home. Calling it a B&B would be an understatement; the owner shared his meticulously crafted home with us over 30 years. Opening my eyes in the morning, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of blue sky, white clouds, and the azure ocean. My dogs, Haha and Bubu, were incredibly clever. Haha accompanied me out early in the morning, got soaked by the rain, and brought me home when he couldn't find it. I was so moved and delighted to stay here. I'd love to come back and experience it again.

The retro European-style rooms are very distinctive, like traveling back to 18th-19th century Europe. The hotel is by the sea, and the night breeze is very cool. There are also puppies in the public area, which is very fun!

The design is full of details and the atmosphere is full. The owner is very loving and has adopted many cats and dogs.
