This is our second experience with Atour 4.0 hotel (our first one was in Dalian) and we enjoy our stay. The hotel is very new and super clean. The services are amazing (but note that everyone seems to speak mainly Chinese though). Breakfast is delicious. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. There’s also free laundry service and free late night porridge. I must say laundry service is a big plus that makes us choose Atour 4.0 again this time as it’s quite nice and convenient not to have to do laundry yourself when you are on vacation.
The location is not bad. It’s only about 2 km from Olympic Sailing Park and Yaner Park, where you can see the sea and can enjoy the sea walk. It may be a bit of a walk if you plan to be on foot or use subway but we have an elderly and a four year old girl with a stroller, so we mostly commute by didi and it’s pretty convenient. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes by car to Qingdao main railway station and most other attractions in the old town (e.g. Naval museum, beer museum, No. 1-3 bathing beaches). Be aware that Qingdao does get some traffic jam during long weekend especially in the old town (where most tourist attractions are) as the roads there are quite narrow.
Like the other Atour 4.0 in Dalian, the room is very quiet and blocks outside noise quite well. It makes you feel peaceful when getting back to the hotel. There’s also free little toy for the kid when my girl gets cranky and there’s also free kid bathroom amenities. Everything in the fridge is for free (tea, soft drink, water) and you can always ask for more water bottles. For the price around 400+ RMB during long weekend, I think other hotel around this price range definitely cannot beat this one.

Whenever I take my family on a trip, my first choice is always Atour. From the hotel environment and facilities to the service, the experience is simply top-notch! When I booked this Atour, I saw it was rated 4.0. The entire decor is completely different from other Atour locations, creating a tranquil and tranquil atmosphere. As soon as I entered the lobby, the subtle scent of bergamot and jasmine permeated the entire hotel. It was so pleasant, a unique Atour scent that made me feel right at home! Because we had to change hotels on short notice, the front desk even upgraded my child and me to a premium king-size room. The experience was wonderful, with smart technology running throughout the room, which my child loved. The deep sleep floor was so quiet, and it felt so good to wake up naturally in the morning! My only downside is that both the subway station and bus stop are a bit far, at least a 4-13 minute walk, so if you don't want to take a taxi, you'll still have to walk a bit. Overall, my trip to Qingdao was a wonderful experience, both in the hotel and the surroundings. I was lucky enough to take my child to Golden Beach and see the fireworks. Everything was perfect! I'll definitely be back!
