Qingdao Laoshan Zhushan Boiled Sea Homestay

The room was exactly as pictured online, and I was incredibly satisfied. The staff were especially welcoming. They helped with our luggage as soon as we got off the bus, so we didn't have to do anything. The entire stay was a pleasant experience. There's also free parking in the on-site parking lot. The rooms are exquisitely designed and fresh, and the amenities are very complete. The cleanliness is meticulous. The front desk was also very patient. It was a very satisfying stay and I highly recommend it! The room is also incredibly photogenic. You can see the ocean from your bed. Just downstairs is the ocean, and you can head straight to the beach. At night, when the tide goes out, we take the kids downstairs to catch crabs.

It's a beautiful place, not only is the price-performance ratio high, but the food is also delicious. My husband said we'll come back next year, so it's a must, good things are worth sharing! I also took a few photos, and the more beautiful scenery has been imprinted in my heart!

I usually trust Ctrip's hotel rankings and don't usually write reviews, so I usually stay as expected. This time, I stayed in five-star hotels in the city for the first few days of my trip to Qingdao, and opted for a sea view hotel in the Laoshan Scenic Area for the last two days. The Laoshan Scenic Area is overwhelmed by the sheer number of B&Bs, so I ended up trusting Ctrip's recommendations (I give Ctrip a 1 for betraying my trust). It was a complete rip-off. A two-night family room with two king-size beds cost 4,400 yuan, which isn't cheap. 1. Location: It's not within the Laoshan Scenic Area, so separate reservations are required. I only discovered this on the way there, so I contacted the hotel manager to make one (but it's only for one day). If you need to enter multiple times, please be aware. 2. Ambience: It's located on the beach behind the village. The water is average (it's been scorching lately). You have to go around the back mountain path to get to the beach, so it's neither too far nor too close. 3. Facilities: Not worth the price, but generally in the 300 yuan price range. The room was advertised as having a large private terrace, but it was actually public and open to anyone. The housekeeper kicked me out the first time, and I thought about it later, too. I laughed at myself for being such a ****. The room was tiny, less than 50 square meters in total, and there was only one bathroom. ⚠️ Very, very, very inconvenient. There was no refrigerator, let alone bathrobes (seaside hotels don't have bathrobes). The door lock was broken and wouldn't close from the outside; you had to swipe your card to close it. The large terrace was completely empty, unlike the pictures (if there were a few stools, that's fine, but I'm not saying anything). As for the beautiful swimming pool in the pictures, please note that it's directly pumped from seawater and filtered through a net to remove moss. The water is incredibly dirty. Not freshwater, not freshwater, not freshwater. ⚠️ 4. Service: I hope the owner can seriously learn about hotel management and B&B service. 1) There was no welcome fruit gift as described in the introduction. 2) I called them at noon on the day of check-in to check in, and then they added me on WeChat. Is this housekeeper service? They only explained check-in details after I asked, and assumed everything would be fine without me asking? With children and a family room for five, could you have provided more towels and children's toiletries? 3) I stayed two days straight and went out for fun on the second day, but my room wasn't cleaned until after 1 a.m. (I'd contacted the housekeeper in the morning, so she knew I was out.) After questioning, I was told the housekeeper had gone to bed after dinner. Beautiful. 4) Breakfast: This is the worst breakfast I've ever had. Please, don't charge for it, okay? See the pictures for your perspective on how terrible it is; it's all cold. Even more bizarre is that while guests were eating, your staff and chefs were also eating. I looked at you, and you looked at me. Beautiful! 5) The B&B's amenities aren't five-star quality, but the service is what makes it special. I ended up buying seafood and steaming it myself, and they charged me a 50 yuan processing fee. I'm not blaming the staff; I approached them and offered to cover the processing fee. I was also half an hour late. I was just a little surprised by the 50 yuan charge. This isn't a negative review, just for your reference. 6) Hygiene: The floor is absolutely unsuitable for barefoot walking. In short, this is a standard B&B priced between 300 and 500 RMB. The reviews seem to be spam based on a few pictures. No one would give such a review. During my stay, I even encountered a blogger who invited influencers to expose their bodies and post positive reviews on Xiaohongshu. I advise the owner to focus on service and equipment maintenance. Simply relying on spam reviews is not enough; consumers are not the only ones.

This homestay left a very good impression on me. The young lady in the store was very enthusiastic and provided good service. The room was clean and tidy. I liked the infinity pool very much. There was also a restaurant and a cafe, which met my needs for eating, drinking and having fun while traveling. The experience was very good.

It's really comfortable. You can look at the sea while lying in bed, and go downstairs to catch some seafood. It's so comfortable and definitely a great place to go. I highly recommend this B&B! The main thing is! ! ! Clean, clean, clean! ! ! The service is really great! ! ! !
