Here's an interesting fact for fellow Americans who grew up with Holiday Inn: the Holiday Inn chain in China is nothing like the Holiday Inn of old back in the States. In China, it's actually nice. Two words: free laundry. Washers, dryers and detergents. I pack a week's worth of clothing even if I'm in town for several weeks. 3rd floor, can't miss it. Breakfast is decent. The rooms are clean and smoke free is actually smoke free. Bottled water and other amenities and necessities are readily available. Wifi speed is decent. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a small minimalist exercise room with dumbbells and a couple other pieces of equipment. The location....I love the location. Chenyang district is an hour North of the better known Shinan district (the seaside that you see in all the tourist Instagram crap). Line 1 metro, Didi or taxi. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel you'll find more than a hundred restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema and more. That's no joke. You could spend a couple weeks just trying them all. They're in the process of building a new metro station across the street. Right now the closest station is maybe a 10-15 min walk. And this area has more of a small city feel to it with a lot less of the tourist nonsense down by the coast. It isn't the least or most expensive hotel in the area, but it's one of the best values in my opinion.

The location is great, 1 min walk to the subway station, room has a nice view overlooking the seashore and the rooms are of a decent size, the stuff is very helpful and very nice. The internet is notoriously slow so you will probably use cellular connection of your own. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The location is perfect--downtown, right next to the subway and near the sea. I guess any room would have a sea view:) Despite the central location, it isn't noisy. The service is great: the staff are helpful and friendly. I was able to leave my suitcase until the evening due to the late flight. Everything is clean, there's enough drinking water and tea, and I got complimentary fruit in my room. They can speak English at the reception. The mattress could be a bit softer though:)

Traveling with my sister, I booked this hotel before I came. I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. (At least 1,000 ➕ in other places of this level) The room decoration is very new, big and bright, at least 50 square meters, with a cloakroom and a big one The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and there is also a small refrigerator. The sheets are not stained at all, and the hygiene is clean. The air conditioner in the room cools very quickly. I originally had an upgrade coupon from Ctrip, but the lady at the front desk gave me a free upgrade to another room. The price is really worth it. It’s very close to Huangdao District, and parking is free. It’s very good. Very good, very good, next time I have a chance to stay here again

I've been to several other hotels in Qingdao, but it was the most satisfying hotel. First of all, I would like to thank ☺️Crystal Zhao. ❤️❤️❤️She continued to let us know and help us through WeChat during our stay. She also accommodated our special needs and assigned us rooms on the highest floor. Also, knowing that it was our anniversary, decorated the rooms beautifully. Also, it was useful to send information on nearby tourist attractions and good restaurants through WeChat. Basically, the service and mindfulness of are excellent. 1. Location: The location of the hotel is really nice. There is an ocean right in front of you, so you can take a walk in the morning and evening. At night, the light shines on the surrounding buildings, so the night view is beautiful. The nearby tourist attraction is not far away, so you can take a taxi in about 10 minutes. 2. Room Condition: The room is clean as it is a new hotel. I used it well because there was an air purifier. The amenities are sufficiently set up. It is convenient to control the curtains and lights. 3. Breakfast: It was nice to have a meal while looking at the sea at the restaurant, and I could eat Chinese and western styles. The instant noodles and huntun were delicious. It was convenient to make coffee and bring it to me right away. 4. Swimming Pool: I liked the swimming pool the most in this hotel. It was comfortable because I could swim while looking at the sea and there were not many people. The people who work in the swimming pool are really nice. I asked them to take a picture because I was alone, and they were willing to take it, so I appreciate it. If I come to Qingdao again, it is a hotel I want to come back to.👍👍👍

Well, Crown Plaza is our usual our favorite hotel and also our first-choice hotel in Qingdao city and naturally chose the Crowne Plaza Qingdao again. The hotel hasn’t lost any of its avantgarde charm. Furthermore, the employees are still as professional and helpful as I remember them from the last time (this time I would like to mention Ms. Fanny from the front desk, hassel-free check in that was quick and we were given a free upgrade) . The rooms are spacious, and the amenities will cater to every whim. The convenient location is an added bonus, which doesn’t need to be mentioned separately as the hotel location which is near to five four squares.

The hotel rooms are relatively new and have a business-like style. They are equipped with a gym and relatively complete facilities. Elsa at the front desk was very enthusiastic in arranging the room and gave fruits and small gifts. I will choose to stay here next time.
