The room was adequate size but we were very disappointed that there was no information in the room about the hotel itself, the services it provided nor about the area round about and no maps . As non Chinese tourists we were completely lost and having nothing to refer made the experience very difficult. A 500RMB security deposit was taken from my card on arrival and we were told anything we spent would be deducted from this and the remainder refunded. But breakfast 180RMB was taken directly from my card account. When we had to leave early some of the remainder for the extra nights was refunded but my 500RMB has not been refunded and I have had no success contacting the hotel. I would like my money refunded as I have already paid for breakfast !!! I must say an outstanding staff member at the hotel is Rafa. He listens, advises , helps and went out of his way and gave us the best and kindest assistance. He was wonderful, an outstanding representative for DoubleTree Hilton!!!!

I stayed here once during the Dragon Boat Festival. The mattress was very comfortable. I changed the mattress at home when I got home. This time I came to Huangdao and chose Hilton Garden Inn again. It is very cost-effective for holidays. I contacted Linda in advance and helped to reserve a room. The whole check-in process was very smooth and saved a lot of time. I give Linda a thumbs up👍🏻The only drawback is that the air conditioning effect is not very good
