My friends and I came to Huangdao to play and stayed in Blue Ocean. As soon as we entered the hotel, the service staff warmly assisted in carrying the luggage. During the check-in period, the front desk staff also received warmly, with smiles and gentle language throughout. He also took the initiative to introduce us to the hotel's buffet and some features of Chinese food, which gave us a choice. After the check-in, he took us to the room, and kept helping us with our luggage and the elevator. The service is really beyond words, so thoughtful! When we got back to the room, the service staff learned that we were out to play, so they introduced us to some of the surrounding attractions and traffic routes in detail, which greatly saved us a lot of time. The room is hygienic and clean, the facilities are well-equipped, and the environment is very good. On the whole, whether it is the service or the interior of the room, I feel that the guests are at home, as if they are at home. Thank you Blue Ocean, I will come again next time!

My friend and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express during our trip to Qingdao. Initially, we had high expectations of the hotel especially since my friend had experienced what Holiday Inn was like in a previous city which was a very good experience. However, our expectations were no met😕 at this hotel. Overall, it was not a bad stay because the hotel was at a good location (there's a mall literally behind the hotel, lots of restaurants and 5 min walk from the subway station) and the staff at the front dest were nice. However, the food, on trip.com, it notes there's western breakfast but there was not! The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast so we were not satisfied with the breakfast at all. Additionally, the hotel needs to be diligent about cleaning the bathrooms. You need to actually scrub the bathroom and not just wipe it down! The shower and around the face basin had mold which was very disgusting and disturbing 🤢. Please do better! Otherwise, we had a good stay. The bed and pillows were so soft, we felt like we were sleeping on clouds 😍😁. We also loved that the lobby had free popcorn for the guests to take 😄.

Staying at the Carnival Hotel again after three years, made our family of three feel at home! The attitude of Shi Yuzhuo at the front desk was very good. After learning that we were staying again, he coordinated the room type we needed. Although this time we were not able to upgrade for free, it may be because of the heavy traffic on May Day this year, but he still tried his best to help us upgrade the room type. The 270-degree luxury sea view suite is definitely worth having! Absolutely five-star praise! Not only did they send us sand-digging toys and kites, but they also gave us a child’s breakfast👏👏👏The only fly in the ointment is that the swimming pool is still under renovation, and it hasn’t been finished in three years😞 Hope to enjoy your swimming pool next time when I go to Qingdao, Years of experienced hotel players definitely strongly recommend this place! Downstairs is Ole, which is convenient for shopping and eating. This time we got up early and went for a walk on the road to the beach, it was really good! Many locals cycle and run, and they can go for a walk if they have the opportunity.

I didn't know what to expect of this hotel, but it blew me away. The lobby was extravagant and the room was large and very comfortable. We did have a pretty nice view of the ocean, which was pleasant overall. The employees were friendly and helpful, and in my opinion the hotel itself is in a pretty good area. My only complaint (and my sole reason for giving facilities 4/5) is that the air conditioner did not work in our room. When I called down, I think the explanation was that they couldn't turn on the hotel's air conditioning just yet? I'm unsure of what they actually meant, but it was so uncomfortably hot in the room in the daytime. They had someone come in to open our window, which only helped a little bit, and when I requested to borrow a fan they told me that they were all in use but would bring me the first available one which was fine. When we returned that night the fan was in our room and had been running, so that along with the open window cooled our room considerably. But I really wish we'd been told at check in that the air conditioning was not working. Other than that (which honestly the staff handled wonderfully) our stay was unexpectedly pleasant, and we'll likely stay again when we return for another Huangdao visit.

I highly recommend this place, because it is a family trip, I chose a relatively larger family room with a small tent, the children are very excited, and the tatami is very comfortable! I also like the separate design for adults and children. There is a large bathtub where you can soak and relax, and there is also a shower. The water volume and temperature are very good! When checking in, the lady at the front desk suggested to upgrade Huazhu Club while buying breakfast. It is very cost-effective and considerate tips and services, thank you very much! Provided additional toiletries for the children, because the children are more noisy, and the number of cleanings is also quite a lot. I am very grateful to the staff for taking the trouble!
