It’s an old fashioned hotel, clean and cozy. The location is perfect for visiting May 4th square and for walking around the beach line. Overall it’s a good place for staying in Qingdao. P.S. We didn’t really understand why we had to ask to change our bedsheets when they are supposed to be changed every night. During our stay they changed once and on our request (but didn’t change the pillow cases IDK why lol 😆) so this part was a bit confusing TBH.

the location is best. you get to the hotel right at subway exit, across Shangri-la hotel and you can walk to Qingdao landmark in just 10 mins. the room was huge and nice and clean. the bathroom was separated into bathtub, shower room and toilet. it's a shame that we could only stay for a night and missed breakfast.

We were there for my wife birthday, the location was amazing and most of things were great ( we had a minor problems with bed and pillow) but the rest of things were wonderful. front desk staff were very kind and helpful.they sent a beautiful cake along with nice message to our room from hotel management and made a memorable moment for us. The hotel breakfast was perfect as well ,western and Chinese food were available.we recommend this hotel to our friends.

A great location for a holiday trip. There was plenty to do. The hotel amenities had something for everyone. I wished the outdoors pools and grounds were unkept a little more. On the way to the beach the boardwalk was destroyed. The building is a little old and could use some updating for the rooms but they staff works hard to keep things clean, orderly, and organized. Staff were very helpful from Check-in to checkout. Food options were plentiful. And the view was amazing.

Came to visit during low season, hotel price is reasonable. The hotel is nice, great view, all staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially my room manager ike 小張, who provided excellent services and made my stay very pleasant. Breakfast has a wide range of selection. Hotel is right next to one of the beaches, and is about 10-20mins drive from most famous sightseeing areas and qingdao railway station. Hotel also offered a complementary ticket for the sky observation at the next door building, it is quite interesting and worth a go.

Another wonderful stay! The service as always was excellent, and we enjoyed all the facilities including the swimming pool, sauna, and plunge pool. Although we booked a room with a city view, they gave us a room with a Seaview and we were able to see the sunrise and had direct access to the beach. I went running along the front through the park and we saw the sun over the sea and the moon over the opposite mountains.

The hotel is spacious and nicely located near to the golden beach of Huangdao, however you have to cross a major road to reach that b ach area. The rooms furniture is a bit outdated but the room is in general comfortable and nice. The longe was closed in the winter time and even now in late March. Breakfast is divers and offers great choices. The hotel is worth the money and not overpriced.

Very wet very nice stay, it’s a vibrant place, with one of the best food in Qingdao hotels. The people are always very special, and I love to mention Lillian and Dora in reception, and Noah and Jennifer at the concierge that made the stay at Sheraton Qingdao West Cost even better.

This is not your top five-star hotel, if that's what you're after. I've seen much better ones. BUT, I somehow had the best swimming beach vacation since 1975 at this hotel. Problems: 1) worn-out towels: 2) no clothing cupboard; 3) no bathrobes; 4) smallish room size; 5) noone speaks English at the check-in desk 6) no in-room safe. Havingg said that, I REALLY enjoyed a simple swimming beach vacation at this holiday. They clean up my room when I asked them to; They don't bother you when you're there; they're friendly when you check in or out. And there's a common refrigerator at the check-in desk if you really need to have your food to be preserded for a couple of days. One problem: DIDi cars have a hard time accessing you: the road outside the Hoel is pretty much heavily-used, so get ready to facing difficulties when getting to your DIDI ride... Overall, a very positive outlook. Will definitely come again Positives: 1) Great Location. Right on the Bathing Beach 1; 2) Helpful Destk Sfuff; 3) Located In the best Qingdao historical area of Badaguan; 4) near the best Qingdao sea food restaurants; 5) you'll get the best of the sun and ocean vacation overall. Very nice stay at this villa The view from the room was amazing 🤩 Everything was clean, the room itself is not so big, but comfortable If you'll have breakfast at the villa be prepared that it's going to be Chinese style breakfast ( it was ok for us) The stuff is friendly, but you better know some basic Chinese for communication Overall it was a very pleasant stay 👍

The room is very clean and very close to the beach. You can see the sea when you go out. You can reach the second bathing beach in a few minutes' walk. It is the first choice for bringing children because you can go out to the sea and dig sand at any time. The hotel is located in the Badaguan Scenic Area, only a few minutes' walk from the Badaguan Scenic Area. The scenic spots in Guan Scenic Area are all very close. The disadvantages are: 1. It is far from the bus station and subway station, and it is inconvenient to take a taxi. Taxi drivers are unwilling to go there; 2. It is inconvenient to drive there, with many traffic restrictions and unreasonable road blocks that cannot be passed. In the hotel It took two turns outside to find the road.

It was my second time staying at the hotel and I was still satisfied. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were convenient, the sea view was beautiful, it was close to the shopping mall, and the service of the staff was very considerate. Thanks to Lei Ting at the front desk for her careful care, which made our trip more perfect. I will choose Shiboge next time.
