The B&B gave us so many surprises. First of all, the housekeeper Xiaoqin was always thoughtful from check-in to farewell. She is a simple and kind-hearted person. The children especially like her. Secondly, the bedding, cleanliness and quality of the rooms in the B&B are all very good. There is also free afternoon tea and minibar. A journey that follows your heart is an unknown destination. To keep up with the trend, the special forces travel light, with Guizhou as the destination. The reason why I chose Guizhou is that its tourism policy supports it and reduces the ticket burden for me. Second, Guizhou is a place with simple folk customs and the custom of ”celebrating small festivals lightly and celebrating big festivals grandly”. I wanted to experience the happiness of the local villagers, and eventually my destination was Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is known for its singing and dancing and is the best Dong village in the world. Before this, when traveling alone, it is inevitable that personal safety and a good experience would be the top priority. After repeated consideration, I chose the Bula Lakeside Hotel in Zhaoxing Dong Village. My choice did not disappoint me, as I knew nothing about the local scenic route and how to take a bus into the village. Fortunately, the staff at Lake Bula contacted me in advance the day before my departure and patiently answered my questions. In case I was afraid that my verbal information would be forgotten, they added me as a WeChat friend and repeated it in text form. This was a real plus for me among the many B&Bs I have stayed in. It was the first time I had such a good impression of an accommodation. Secondly, what made me happy was that I took a minibus to the village. It was noon when the sun was the hottest and brightest. I got off the bus at the minibus terminal and contacted the staff. The young man who came to pick me up was really enthusiastic. I could have carried my luggage by myself as I was traveling light, but I couldn't resist his enthusiasm and he rushed to help me carry my luggage to the store (which was very close, only 4-5 minutes away). In the store, the three young ladies at the front desk also welcomed me very warmly, with smiles on their faces and greetings. They checked me in and acted as my tour guide to introduce the entire village to me. We asked and answered questions, talked and laughed. The room is so comfortable and aesthetic!! I didn’t wanna leave the room lol. There’s a complimentary bath and I picked the herbal bath. They prepared it very well by deep sanitizing the bathtub and brewing the herbal bath. We also did our laundry while we stayed there. There are a lot of traditional Miao Tribe clothes that we can put on and take photos for free. One of the staffs took photos for me and my family with their camera. She also helped me put on accessories. The view is amazing and the location is perfect for our stay. Their staff picked us up at the little north gate and carried our luggages all the way up to our hotel and they did the same baggage delivery service when we are leaving. Words cannot describe how thoughtful and excellent their services is. I will book this hotel again in our future visit to the Miao village and I highly recommend it to anyone!

The first time I came to Qianhu Miao Village, I stayed at this Life Treasure B&B. After entering Miao Village, you can take the shuttle bus directly to the entrance of the B&B. The location is very close to the observation deck and far from the pedestrian street, but there is also a shuttle bus. , very convenient.

Access from the viewing deck to the hotel is a tiny horrendous narrow steep dirt alley with physical encounter with ponies used for hauling building materials. A new hotel is under construction right next door and screeching of drills and banging of hammer started promptly at 7am. White painted room decorated by light colour elegant furniture provide a lively zen ambiance. Uneven surfaces at the entrance, breakfast bench and parts of the room resulted in a few trips and stumble. Modern and top grade amenities, toilet suites and voice activated commands took a little use to but very convenient. Breakfast was a choice between boiled rice noodle or spaghetti with a heart shaped froed egg in the bowl and another hard boiled on the serving tray. Tit bits and free beer prepaed for afternoon tea was extended to mid night cap. Appreciated most of all were the free porterage of our luggage through the steep alleys of the famous hillsides to and from our room.

We were super lost at first, but we gave them a call and they met us across the bridge and helped us carry our bags up the steep hill, and then up the multiple floors of the hotel. The two men at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out — we accidentally left a phone on the train on the way to Xijiang, and we couldn't contact the train company because we're international travelers who are not fluent in Mandarin. They helped us contact 12306, file a lost item report, coordinate with the train company, and arranged for a courier to bring the phone from the train station to the village. We got the phone back in less than 24 hours! They were also helpful with local recommendations, and overall very patient with my intermediate level Mandarin. Very lively location, right above bridge #1. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Also, they have a very cute, sleepy cat ＜3

SScarletTheWandererThis is an incredible spot to stay! We were amazed by the location and the staff at this gorgeous hotel nestled in the hills. The rooms were incredible, clean and spacious. Our cabin overlooked the valley and felt like we were just inside a forest. The bathrooms as beautiful with a huge bathtub and wonderful string shower. The food here is incredible and fresh and the dining room overlooks a lovely valley that is perfect to watch the sun go down. It’s very close to all the walking trails and there are very few tourists here even in the height of the season. It’s a hidden gem!
Would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a great experience! The staff went over and above to make our stay incredible. Will visit again!

GGuest UserI stayed for 3 nights in the Xijiang Miao Village and I'm very glad I chose this place as my accommodation. On arrival the boss gives a very comprehensive overview of the village and its attractions and encourages you to contact her via WeChat with any queries! The husband also recommended a nearby hot pot restaurant for dinner where I met a brother and sister from Chongqing, which led to a drunken night of spicy food, karaoke, and me wandering through the village without shoes or a shirt 😂 - 10/10 dinner recommendation!
The room was spacious, tidy and had all of the necessary features of a hotel room. It has a very nice family feel, and I often would see the owners' family enjoying dinner or playing with their children which creates a very calm and safe atmosphere! Water is provided (not every hotel does this!) and they are also happy to offer some of their delicious rice wine :)
The night before I left, I asked for information on bus tickets to Kaili and the husband even booked it on my behalf, so helpful! I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody staying in the village.

WWongyThis is the best hotel you will get in Rongjiang. I would say the standard of fit out is similar to a Atour hotel for example. However, this is a brand new property and has a lot of gaps and it feels like the hotel is at a pre opening stage rather than a fully opened hotel.
The Landry in very small basically only one washing machine and one dryer. But after each wash there was water leaks all over the floor as they have not installed the water pipes properly.
The rooms are clean but air con keeps on switching off and you need to keep on changing cold settings to turn it back on. Another annoying thing is the toilet light. Even when turned on the sensors will turn off the light halfway through a shower. So you need to wave the sensor to turn the lights on again.
The reception staff are friendly but clearly lack the polished service. I purchase two nights and added to additional night which I paid at the hotel. But the evening staff don’t seem to communicate with the morning shift. I received a call on the third day around lunchtime asking why I didn’t check out when I paid for two extra nights at reception.
There is supposed to be a gym but no equipment and the football field below is nice but entrance to the field is not yet setup.
Finally, breakfast is very very basic so don’t expect much. Noodles, eggs and a few veggie dishes but quality is quite low.

The proprietress's house is a newly opened hotel, the facilities are very new, the smart housekeeper of Xiaomi is used, and the toilet is also intelligently heated. I like the aroma of the proprietress's house, the faint gardenia fragrance, the focus is on sandals and slippers without smell, and the companion said that there is still fragrance. The most important point is that the proprietress is enthusiastic. When I went there, I picked us up at the entrance of the scenic spot. I also had a discount for eating at the proprietress's restaurant! The sour soup fish is very appetizing, and I recommend friends from other provinces to try it. The trip to Dongzhai was very happy. I recommend everyone to live at the boss's house. It is clean and hygienic and the details are thoughtful!

BBERNARD SCHACKISI came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. No tourist cars in the village. Hundred of restaurants in the village, so no problem for this.

AAnonymous UserIt was not bad when I checked in. At first glance, I felt that it was not bad, it was an old house. The problem came when I went up the stairs. The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
Facilities: average, the TV cannot be watched, and the batteries of the remote control are moldy. When the air conditioner is turned on, it will spray water.
Hygiene: the floor is dusty, with insects and cobwebs.
Environment: Surrounded by bars, it is still very lively at 12 o'clock in the evening, singing is flying all over the sky.
