Sataya Resort Marsa Alam

Great stay, great food & amazing staff. Stayed 1 week, in block 12 room 107. Lovely view of one of the quieter pools. Bedroom was very spacious, clean & comfortable. Food was great (apart from the bland packed lunch) lots of choice in the main buffet. Enjoyed lunches at the pizza restaurant by the beach. We were a little disappointed that wine was only available during evening meal. The pools & grounds were kept in good order, they could do with more conveniently placed toilets by the pools though. We spent most of our days diving with the amazing viva Sub scuba team, they were fabulous. We tried the entertainment on 2 seperate evenings, but did not enjoy....just not our cup of tea.

Good: Room- very clean. Food-very good. Depends what you like but overall okay Staff very friendly. ENTERTAINMENT ONLY DURING THE DAY GOOD BUT NOTHING FOR THE KIDS. BAD *ENTERTAINMENT on the evening very poor. Mini disco you doesn't really want to go there. Only one show was good fire show but the rest of it waste of time. drinks only when you went to the bar and get it on you own. They not even asking to bring you some. When you have small child is hard to go and get it. *AMPHITHEATRE should be open on 25 but never been open. *RECEPTION I did ask them to sing happy birthday to my doughter but they refused as her birthday was in 4 days time but this holiday was for birthday! Another from reception bad experience was about the room. We checked in at 11.30pm. Check out was at 12am but the flight was at 11.30pm. I did ask for more time as my soon was sleeping during the day so he forced me to pay 50USD until 6pm for late check out. The manager face was very satisfied when he gave us option to pay for the room or give a key back at 12pm. And said he can give us a key for 30min time for different room for fresh up. 30min for 4 people 2 adult and 2 kids? They don't care for guests specially kids. They taking care only about finances as manager said. * not really suitable for prams and disable people. OVERALL I WOULD NOT COME BACK TO THE HOTEL AGAIN...

We had wonderful time in this resort, it is very nice location. Many thanks to the reception team, especially Mr. Hassany and Mr. Ali. Food is perfect in the main restaurant, and staff there also are very nice. Cleaning was perfect and Room boy is making a good job. Only one thing we didn't like it, is staff by beach bar and recreation team, they acting as a guest or something like that, not even smile.

The food was good. Nice idea for place to eat for +18. Lots of pools but there is problem with sunbeds reservation. People put towels at 5am and the stuff doesnt react. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice stuff at the building 11. Only two bars for four pools.

Our first vacation in Egypt and everything was perfect. We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed with big smiles Clean room and whole resort, very good food and nice smiling staff. Room cleaned every day. Very nice vacation, see you soon! Thank you for everything

Sataya Resort Marsa Alam is the best place to relax and have a lot of fun. I rate the cleanliness of the rooms as very good. The cleaning man are very friendly and always smiling. He left us a surprise in the room that made our day more pleasant. The food at the hotel is tasty and varied. Everyone will find something for themselves. The pools are clean and well maintained. I recommend this place to spend your vacation :)
