Al Moudira Hotel

We only had one night here. We wish it could have been a longer stay, but we thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful spot. We upgraded to one of the signature suites. It was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. This hotel feels like it's at least 100 years old with the hand crafted details. Amazingly it is just 24 years old. The workmanship and decor harken back to a bygone era. Our suite was clean and has been well maintained. There were nice amenities such as a safe, robes, coffee and non-alcoholic mini bar. We had multiple places to sit and lounge or work. The room was comfortable with the air conditioning. The semi-domed ceiling was enchanting. The grounds are beautiful and a great place to lose yourself exploring. We enjoyed the refreshing pool area where we had wait staff to bring drinks and snacks. The pool and restroom facilities were lovely and clean. We had a little enclosed courtyard with our room. There were two "bathrooms". One had a toilet and sink and the other had a shower and sink. I've never seen that before but it's nice to have the extra space and privacy, if one of you is showering. We had dinner in the Courtyard. It's a little confusing if you make a reservation as to which restaurant you dine at. Since we were eating early due to an early morning departure, it didn't seem to matter which restaurant we ate at. Our food was delicious and service was friendly. If I were to go back and have more time, I might splurge on one of the fountain suites. Not for extra room, but just the uniqueness of having the fountain in the suite. I doubt you could go wrong with any of the beautiful accommodations. It's worth noting that there are also villas available on site. If I was going with a group, it seems like one of these would be a great option. You are a little ways from the city. If you're interested in being able to walk to shops and such, this wouldn't be ideal. But, if you want an experience where you feel like you're in an oasis and have stepped back in time, this is the place to stay.

Wow! Amazing hotel. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are so spectacular with stained glass in the ceiling giving the feeling of stars. The service is wonderful. The hidden gem of the “farm restaurant” Is simply wonderful! This was a really outstanding experience!
