I really don't like it. The environment is OK, but it's in a place with nothing. So you have to eat in the hotel. The food is bad and expensive. The facilities are also average. I went there for the swimming pool, but it was under renovation. It's far from the attractions. It's inconvenient to take a taxi and it's expensive.

One of my two favorite hotels in Egypt! Although I only stayed for one night, the experience was great! ! ! It can be clearly seen that the entire hotel pays great attention to details, the environment is superb, there is the hotel's own organic plantation behind, and the breakfast is also rich and varied! The only disadvantage is that the location is relatively remote and it is difficult to call a taxi.

We visited the hotel as it was recommended by a friend for dinner or lunch. We didn’t actually stay so I can’t comment on that. We were given a tour and what we saw was very beautiful - a total oasis of calm and beauty. I imagine many of the reviews are accurate but I came away feeling slightly sad. This place is gorgeous but it is located in the middle of nowhere, in a very poor area of Luxor and I found the contrast of wealth and poverty too upsetting. When we left after our delightful lunch we were harassed by a child beggar, filthy from head to toe who clearly hadn’t seen water in weeks, teeth missing, no clothing, crying and begging for money. I felt terrible guilt having just been somewhere so amazing. And it struck me that this place just seems so out of place, so in the wrong place. I hope and pray this hotel brings genuine prosperity to this area but I imagine Chateau and Relais cream off most of the profit. I would love to hear from them and hear about their amazing initiatives to empower the local people to improve their place in life and change the cycle of poverty.

When you enter the property you immediately feel the relaxed, Zen like atmosphere. The hotel is perfectly maintained , with lush gardens, patio's, fountains and lots of private corners to sit and relax. Our room was decorated with hand painted fresco's, authentic furniture and decorations and with all the modern amenities. They have tree restaurants, which are all excellent. there is a beautiful heated pool. Unfortunately during our stay there were a lot of families with a lot of children. Hard to relax with 10 teenagers and kids in the pool having fun. This however didn't spoil it for us and we would definitely go back whenever we will be back in Luxor.

It’s very nice , beautiful , quiet hotel ,amazing decoration, for relaxing, the food v.good , I try yoga I love it , every thing in the hotel it’s amazing, friendly staff, and I love the furniture… I recommend to stay in this hotel. And quite place for mediation.
