This Hotel was our favorit on Peloponnes. Large Rooms with amazing views, spacious terraces and tasteful Interieur. Beautiful sandy beach with easy access to the crystal clear water. Romantic dining on the terrasse with sunset views close to the water. We enjoyed the specialities of an extraordinary Chef, who offered a variety of regional and international dishes.

What a wonderful place - becoming one of our very favourite hotels and I do hope that we get to stay here again. Everything is gorgeous - from the stunning views, the private beach, the immaculate cleanliness to the massive pools including a jacuzzi overlooking the sea. We were fortunate to get an upgrade to a private pool which was incredible - a very decent length and we loved being able to swim after dinner. Special mention to - what really makes it is the staff. All of them are the pleasantest most helpful team who really seem to take pleasure in the hotel and your well-being. Special special mention here to the front of house restaurant team Maria and Panagiotis - making all the diners feel special and treasured, - their genuine warmth added to the whole experience - the restaurant, we generally went for the specials each night as we soon realised it was better to put ourselves in the chef's hands with either the fresh fish or meat option. Special mention too to the wine list which has a range of interesting local vinyards and options (including a very good orange wine). Also, to note I had mentioned our coeliac daughter to the hotel in advance and they'd bought gluten free bread particularly for her We hope to be back.

Wonderful place for calm rest. It is located on the rock and has wonderful private sandy beach. Exceptional sunsets from tarace. Big rooms. Helpful staff. Ask for greek cofee. The teritory is kept wonderful. Use as a relax holiday. A day trip with a rented car - Olympia, nice coast siteseeings

We spent here two weeks with our family. During the last 11 years we wisited quite a few nice places around Greece and find Mare Dei best holiday venue for a family like ours. The place offers a breathtaking view on the Yonian sea, especially during the sunset, from the room and restaurant terrace. Private acceas to a beautiful sandy beach, quietness of pool and beach are especially amazing. Lots of repeat guests, staying for two weeks or longer, when we were here also says a lot. The staff of the restaurant, Panayotis and Maria, deserve special praise. They made our stay unforgetable. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner, mrs. Helena, and can’t wait to visit Mare Dei again for our summer vacation.

This hotel could be a little gem if only there was a manager at the helm. But here the “boss” is disinterested in her customers, even flees from them and above all she does not take care of anything and does not coach her staff who are nevertheless adorable and do the best they can with the means they have. The best: the location, the beach and the staff. The minuses: uncleaned beach and access points, almost nothing in the bathrooms, no control of the showers and taps which deserve anti-limescale (proof that there is no control after the passage of the maids) not even wine glasses in the villa, nothing to dry swimsuits and towels, pretty but aging equipment. Catering level: quite catastrophic breakfast lack of local products, tables not set (to do it yourself), paper napkins including in the evening at dinner. There is apparently a “grill box” that does not work and it is a shame because not only does it “keep” customers and it makes money, these are only examples because frankly it is not up to standard even a 4 star and it's a real shame. Madam, you need to wake up and be accompanied by a hotel and catering professional, your hotel and your customers deserve it.

We zouden hier drie nachten verblijven, maar zijn na aankomst meteen weer vertrokken – we hebben er dus geen nacht geslapen. Het hotel ligt echt in the middle of nowhere. De toegangsweg is hobbelig, zanderig en vuil. Bij aankomst geen warm welkom, maar een kille, onpersoonlijke ontvangst. Alles gaf een afgeleefde, verwaarloosde indruk. De kamer vertoonde verschillende mankementen: • Een kastdeur die op afbreken stond • Een “niet storen”-bord dat gewoon een houten blokje was, met iets gekrabbeld in balpen • Geen enkel plankje of oppervlak in de douche om toiletspullen op te zetten • Geen koffie- of theefaciliteiten • Geen derde bed voorzien Voor onze dochter van 16 (1m76) was er enkel een zetelbed, met een diepe spleet in het midden – echt totaal ongeschikt. Het hotel was vrijwel leeg – en dat zegt genoeg. We hebben meteen contact opgenomen met onze reisorganisatie, die gelukkig razendsnel een ander hotel regelde. Wat een verademing: van de hel naar de hemel. Kortom: dit hotel is geen vier sterren waard en absoluut geen aanrader.

Wir hatten das besondere Glück, im Juni 2022 unseren Urlaub auf der Peleponnes zu verbringen. Unser erstes Hotel war das Mare Dei Suites Resort. Wir vergeben hier die höchste Punktezahl aus folgenden Gründen. 1. Ein Zimmerupgrade war problemlos möglich, wir hatten eine Superior Suit mit Meerblick und sind bei Meeresrauschen eingeschlafen. 2. Das Restaurant im Hotel hat eine kleine aber feine Speisekarte, das Essen war sehr lecker, das Frühstück morgens abwechslungsreich und bekömmlich. Außergewöhnlich guter Service (Danke Maria) 3. Zimmer Service ausgezeichnet und schnell 4. Mehrere Pools mit gut temperiertem Wasser und eine tolle Pool Bar mit sehr gutem Service 5. Ein atemberaubender Strand and einem traumhaften Ort. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, dieser Ort hat unsere Seele gestreichelt.
