Yanggakdo Hotel is definitely an impressive and noteworthy building: there are shops, restaurants, a post office and even computers with which you can surf the internet. The rooms are spartan but comfortable. Be careful not to wet the bathroom floor! The bed is surprisingly warm and cozy. There are no sheets of paper in the room! I had to ask for one at the reception. My stay in Pyongyang was also made memorable by the helpfulness of the staff: they are very kind and can communicate in both English and Chinese. This hotel offers services of all kinds, including those... er, you get the idea.
